Stainless steel is boring.
I love bronze in watch cases because it shows the passing of time on the outside of the watch, whilst the hands show it on the dial.
The bronze reacts with the skin, and with whatever you throw at it and develops a protective patina that becomes unique for each specific owner and depends by the operating conditions.
But I wanted a photo of this watch when it was still clean and new.

The shooting with Martina gave me a great opportunity to use her skin as a background for the new timepiece.
And the watch looks very good plunged in the thick black hair of Martina.

As soon as I came back from Milano, I accelerated the ageing process on the bronze watch with the aid of salt and ammonia, so now it does not look like this anymore.
Now it looks less gilded and more tainted, and I love it even more.
Thanks to these photos I will never forget how it looked when new.

I had decided to stop buying watches for 2022 months ago, but I couldn't give up the Black Friday deal on this Glycine Combat Sub!
It is the most precise of my whole collection, as long as you keep it fully charged.
At the moment of my shooting with Martina, I was still waiting to find a proper strap to mount on it, so I preferred to show it without.

Later today I'm going to post a detail of this picture also on my IG watch specific profile: https://www.instagram.com/bramleyapple.watch/
Albeit I'm not sure it is going to last very long before the censorship of Meta group is going to strike me down 😅
