The Times They Are A-Changin' (Patreon)

From when I started my Patreon channel, back in December 2018, I left the default settings for the payments to be collected on the first of the next month.
This, not surprisingly, has allowed lots of people to join the community for nearly a month, and flee just before paying.
Obviously, after the third time, I used to block this kind of people manually.
Apparently it was a mess for Patreon to ask for the money straight away to new subscribers, but they must have realised it was too easy to take advantage of this arrangement, thus reducing the income for creators and for the platform itself.

Last Sunday, I was asked if I wanted to change this old system to the new "subscription billing" formula, that requires the immediate payment of the monthly fee, and a new payment after 1 month exactly (depending on the subscription day).
Nothing is going to change for the current and faithful Patrons.

Obviously I did choose this option.
So, in the future, we'll have no more parasite stealing my precious time from the photography work to act like a policeman, no more declined payment for faulty or empty credit cards, no hopping in and out at the turn of the month...
The Bramley Apple Project will become a healthier community to enjoy, only for those that are genuinely interested.

Even more than before, the exclusive models like Cristiana are going to be available for the community members alone.
