I like to spend a long time working on getting the balance of my pictures just right, and consistent the entirety of a shooting.
In the first pictures I edit I put a lot of effort, but not always the result is fully satisfying.
Later on I might find a better solution to render a specific lightning condition of that particular sequence of pictures.
This one, for example, required some toning that is not a usual practice for me, and maybe I will change approach for the rest of the sequence...
All these previews are therefore a matter of testing my editing technique, and improving it whilst I progress in my work on the single shooting.
This is particularly true whenever I encounter a new model with a specific skin tone, or we shoot in unusual lightning conditions.
My aim is to provide the overall best appearance, retaining the feeling of the moment.

By the way, I wanted Ania to relax while posing for our first shooting in Merate, so I promised she could eliminate from the publication all the pictures she deemed too hot.
Well, yesterday I sent her the selected pictures (254 color only) to examine, and today she replied that all of the pictures are ok and approved!!!
And this is great news for us all, I can assure you 😊
Now I have to prepare the BW version, and retouch them (whilst working on all the other girls at the same time...)
