This clock was working well, which is not a given.
I have one in my kitchen, which has been in the family for ages, but I never look at it, because these days we have iWatches, iPhones, iMacs and they all tell you what time it is, they are also more precise, because constantly connected to the Web.

Few days ago, this venerable timepiece of mine stopped ticking, but I've not changed the battery yet, probably I will not care to do it, so I have one less hassle when we have to change to Summer-time.

Progress is changing many of our habits, for instance I'm not using any more my beloved wrist watches, because my iWatch is more versatile and less valuable (so I can use it also at work).
Technology is not cheap, but at least it is useful and disposable.

By the way, did you notice Cristiana on the kitchen top?
