You have no idea how difficult it is to choose one picture from this new shooting with Ania in Consonno, not because we shot few pictures, but because we shot too many (982) and too good!
I also have to be careful not to spoil some surprises or special effects I want to keep for later…
So please be patient and let’s start with this picture on the roof of a building, backlighted from the blazing sun.

With the SL2-S, I used only the Contax-Zeiss Sonnar T* 85mm f2.8 for the whole time, the lens worked flawlessly as it did with Mescaline on the Lumix S1, I just had to shut off the IBIS system on the SL2-S because there has never been an 85mm focal length in the Leica catalog I could select from the list, neither in M or in R form, and I risked introducing blur in the photos instead of compensating from my natural movements…
And speaking about the peculiarities of each lens, I would like to point out how the out of focus reflections in the puddle look like in this picture, by courtesy of the 6 bladed aperture and the onion ring effect introduced by the quality Zeiss glass.
