I know I was nasty to my new favourite tool a few days ago, showing you a picture of Cristiana shot at 12,500 ISO.
I was arguing that even with all the latest technologies distilled inside the backside illuminated sensor, without any noise reduction applied, the files are not very good.

So today I want to make amends by showing you a portrait shot at 1,600 ISO, which appears to be a perfect value for the Leica SL2s.
With this ISO setting, you can fully appreciate the performances of the 1989 Summicron-M 90mm used at f2.8.
I love how one eye is sharp and natural looking, whilst the other is soft and out of focus.
No wonder this was considered one of the best portrait lenses of its time, I'm happy for having it send to the Leica headquarters to restore its former glory, and now I feel I have plenty to learn about this incredible glass.

Speaking about details, which thumb of Cristiana do you prefer?
