The maintenance on my Patreon profile required a long time and delayed my retouching work on Bianca's shooting and all the others I'm left with.
It also kept me away from the last 2 shootings, both made with the new Leica SL2s, still stuck in Lightroom!
I really want (and need) to go back working on them to understand how this new camera works!

Now Bianca's shooting is finally finished and safely uploaded in my Archives, I wanted to pick this picture from my very last shooting, just to keep everything running at the same time.

I like how the pale complexion of Stella works in this backlight photo, it is as if she was transparent, like the thin skin on her arms.
Summicron lenses and Leica sensors always manage to keep everything simple and natural looking.
The face of stella is in perfect focus, but also looks smooth, but also full of very sharp details.
Nothing is exaggerated to impress the customer, or to produce unbelievable MTF charts results.
Leica gear is not meant to perform on paper, is meant to make plausible and pleasing pictures.
It is the perfect mix of soft and sharp for a nude portrait, and my responsibility is to maintain this balance throughout the editing process.
The best word to describe this Leica look is "organic".

A good way to start the new year!
