There are some weird things going on in this picture. 

- First, the framing, cutting out the hands.
It is due to using a 135mm telephoto lens in a place that is too small, once you have reached the wall with your back, it is a matter of choosing what to cut off, in this case I choose the hands.

- Second, most of Martina's face is hidden in the shadows, with no hint of a catch lights in the eyes.
This understatement of the face features is distant from what any photography manual would teach you, maybe a professor would have filled in the shadows with a flash of light...
But for me, this picture works because it is so real, exactly what your eyes would have seen in these conditions, and what I can see if really pretty!
