The trees in the back are hiding a footpath always busy with people passing by foot or riding a bike, behind the row of trees runs the Adda river.
This is an abandoned quarry me and my wife call Chernobyl, for the desolate look, a quiet location for a shooting, with the only drawback of mosquitoes.

This day was particularly quiet, because it was Ferragosto, August 15th, and everybody was on holiday.
Just one biker passed by on the footpath whilst we were taking these pictures and I don't think he even noticed our presence.

A suggestion: try not to change lens in conditions like this, you might drop something in the mud!
Ask me how I know...
Fortunately no harm ensued for my lens, but it was a valuable lesson for the future.
