During this Summer day we explored every corner of this villa, and all the pictures look different!
Rooms, balconies, garden, under the trees, near the gate and even inside my car!
I collected an enormous quantity of material from this single shooting (the 2th with Martina) and of great variety.
That is the secret to get the most out of your investment.

Nowadays Martina and I are working on locations that are far less versatile, and we are making much less photos, but I think there is more depth about them, reflecting a longer working relationship and a perfect tuning between us.

Glen Gould recorded the Goldberg Variation twice in his life, with many Years in between; also Maria Callas recorded Norma twice in her career, with a long interval between the performances; in both cases I prefer the later version, because the enthusiasm and the health of youth are compensated by experience and deeper understanding of the art.
In the case of Martina and I, the years between shootings are still very few, but I can feel a constant development of our skills and a richer understanding of each others role.
Having said that, sometimes it is refreshing to look back to the older versions of ourself, like in this case.
