The Big One [Update] (Patreon)

Hi! This is a major update to my Patreon, so uptop, it's major, please do not skip it, please read it, but:

I totally have not given y'all enough time or notice to adjust to the changes I have made; please feel free to cancel your pledge if you are no longer okay subbing given your tier was more than likely modified or deleted outright.
If you get billed for September and want a refund, I totes understand: please scroll to the bottom of this update for how to do that. I'm sorry I did not get it done sooner; I'll be holding any funds via Patreon until the 7th of September so people can get refunds if needed as painlessly as possible. Please, if you want your full pledge amount back, let me know prior to the 7th.

[All Tiers] Discounts; Tiers no longer have discounts on commissions. [Why?: This got super confusing between everyone's discount tier numbers and was more of a source of mathematical nuance and irritation for me than it was a fun incentive. Commissions were already pretty cheap for what I do and additional discounts on top of that often resulted in insane amounts of work for me for the cash I was getting. I was working for weeks on things that paid maybe half of my electric bill. I spent a lot of time figuring out how much cash I need to live, and these were not helping that.]
[$30 Tier]: This tier (and the older one) has been removed entirely. [Why?: This resulted in too much work without the compensation needed; after re-evaluating my expenses it's actually insane to keep doing these at this rate and I'm not comfortable upping the amount at the moment. I am *still* working on a backlog of these and things promised under these; I can't keep my head above water right now enough to promise this anymore, let alone at the prior rate. Thank you guys so much. ;_;' I'm sorry!! If it opens up again under a new rate I'll let y'all know. Thank you so, so much for supporting it like you did.]

[All Tiers Misc]; All tiers have been shuffled about and simplified down into 1 of 3 options.
[All Tiers Commissions]; Prices got raised and simplified. Rates start at $65USD per character. [Why? tl;dr I was working too much for too little cash. I was not able to pay my bills and the sheer amount of work was leading me to burnout because I had to choose between working or letting a bill bounce while doing my best to live. I had no free time to do fun stuff or live and the more I reduce myself to 'just doing art', the more I die inside. They will be color only for now. (Literally no one was ordering sketches, so this was also done for simplicity.)]
[$1] Renamed to 'Fish Flakes'; general support is always appreciated and you have access to the commission form when it opens.
[$5] Renamed to 'Fish Cakes'; the above + added the ability to make suggestions in a pool of characters/ideas that I'll refresh once a month. It's, again, suggestions; it's not a promise I will do any of those ideas, but I aim to do at least some of them. Maybe I'll pick a handful and put them to a vote, idk. Aint done this yet. 6 v6
[$10] Renamed to 'Fish Tanks'; the above + the sketchpack as before, which has been updated for clarity. Less 'character studies' and more of the stuff you're actually here for. So while you'll get less images, they'll be more focused on the growth stuff. :V

As above it's not promised, it's not a request, it's not a commission; it is a 'I don't know what I want to draw' option where who knows - maybe I will do the thing.
[Stream Goal]; Wanna see me stream? I dunno why, I think I'm boring and I have shitty music taste, but if you want that, pledges can now work toward it!! It will be me sketching/working and shooting the shit with people. In the event we succeed with this, I will not be doing a whole lot of open coms or whatnot on stream bc not everyone will be able to be around for the hours I will be doing it. If y'all're working to help me do it, I don't want to shut you out of that benefit if it's somn you're interested in. Maybe I'll make open coms on it a special event idfk what I'm doing lmao

Refunds: If you do not have the time to cancel due to how late this update came (sorry!), send me a DM here with 'I would like to request a refund for September's billing cycle' in the body. You have until September 7th. You can copy/paste that message if you want. I promise you it's okay, I am not stressing it if you want your cash back; if your money would be better spent elsewhere, I want that for you too!! You deserve to be happy with how you're spending that!!
Refunds After September 7th: If you wait until after September 7th to request a refund, you may not be able to get your exact pledge amount back. After I pay out, Patreon takes a cut and Paypal takes a cut, then in order to send you cash (ESPECIALLY if it's not in USD) I have to eat conversion fees and Paypal fees - again. This is why I am waiting to pay out until then, and I cannot afford to wait longer than that or my bills will start bouncing. I cannot give you back money I did not receive; I cannot stress this enough. If you need a refund, you really should ask me sooner than later.

LASTLY: Thank y'all for being patient. I'm sorry for these constant changes but it's time to accept I cannot carry everything I am trying to without constantly breaking myself, and it's not worth it. I chose this job because I love it - and in breaking down and building up I am helping myself to continue loving it. I have been doing too much and too much of me had to go into this. I can't explain what burnout is or what it feels like in ways that aren't awful to make someone else read - especially these days - but I was so fucked up I could not get myself to even look at my tablet without seizing up and wanting to hide. I was not in a good place with this, but I'm hoping I can get there if I start simpler and work my way up as needed - as opposed to the other way around.
