Lost Cave & Swamp Contest Prize Pool:

Rules:

-You do not have to be an active patron to enter the contest. If that is the case, feel free to use these model to enter: https://gumroad.com/l/gEHgg 

-Print and Paint any character from the current collection 'Swamp' + 'The Lost Cave'. 

-For Resin Prints, the miniature can NOT be scaled up.

- For FDM Prints, the miniature can be scaled up to 230% of the original scale, NO MORE.

-Single miniature Entries Only.

-The base can not exceed the 100mm diameter limit. (230mm if scaled up for FDM)

-The base can be custom and can include elements that improve storytelling.

-The character has to be the main subject of the piece. Try to avoid dioramas or big scenarios. 

-No digital painting/editing allowed. 

-You may submit as many entries as you want, but only 1 per contestant will be eligible to enter the Top 10.

-Photographs submitted have to be at least 512x512 pixels in resolution to be considered. There are no restrictions in terms of aspect ratio.

-Video entries will have extra points (short turnarounds or 10-second videos).

-To enter, post on our Facebook Group a picture of your painted mini using the hashtag #October2020PaintingContest

-The deadline will at 11:59 pm CST on October 25th, 2020.

-Top 10 minis will be posted on the Cast n Play's Patreon Page along with a poll for everyone to vote on October 29th. 

-Winners will be decided based on votes on the official poll. Voting will close on October 30th, 2020, and winners will be announced. 

WE WILL NOT CONSIDER ENTRIES IN ANY OTHER PLATFORM OTHER THAN FACEBOOK.

-While this is not a photography contest, we expect good lit photographs and videos to be able to judge as fair as we possibly can.

I know we're not allowed to scale up the minatures, but are we allowed to change the scale of the terrain elements?

Just checking, are we allowed to put another smaller miniature on the base, to “improve storytelling”?
