OOHHHH, you all, this was a BLOOD BATH! We're narrowing down to the Elite 8 and everyone was a CONTENDER! You all had your work cut out for you in this round and I needed Wine-chan to help me discuss the results!   

Next week is the last round, as we do Elite 8 to Final 4 and to the FINALE! "I can't wait to see how this turns out!"

You know what? I'm not surprised Aki and Miwa made it to the elite 8 for one simple reason: suits. What screams more husbando or waifu than a character in a suit?! Nanami was a given to be honest. I agree with you about Ash and Levi in the sense that they're actually rather similar in how they keep most things to themselves and show their emotions more so in gestures than in words, but just for the 'Stay by my side. It doesn't have to be forever. Even if it's just for now.' line, I think Ash deserved to take the edge over Levi as much as love our small king. The Kagami vs Aki round... I like both characters but I understand your frustration, lol. Long live our red-headed, hot-blooded, pure-hearted king of communication fallen too soon, Kagami Taiga! To be frank, I would have chosen Thorfinn over Rei (you guessed it, I've seen season 2 of Vinland Saga) but Rei wears a suit, so... of course he'd join Miwa and Aki! Vash vs Gojo: I didn't watch Trigun but Gojo isn't really the most communicative character, so fair! Yuji, my precious, incredible, sunshine of a cinnamon roll, of course he'd win. As much as my heart hurts for Haiji because I absolutely adore him and feel like he just screams 'boyfriend', Yuji is my spiritual nephew and as his spiritual aunt, I am over the moon. I have only watched a few episodes of Violet Evergarden and Lan WangJi is the king of silence, so either of them passing I wouldn't have minded but unsurpisingly, with how popular he is, LWJ prevailed! I agree about Sasaki vs Lu Guang, Sasaki definitely had it in the bag. Riza vs Haruhi, Tohru vs YanLi, Maki vs Shinobu, Yor vs Jessica and Winry vs Misa were all a given to me. Gojo losing to Violet though, surprising indeed! But your reasoning with the letters made a lot of sense, so yay for Violet! I did expect Akane to win over Historia, and overall, the waifus bracket was more 'predictable' than the husbandos this time around, but enjoyable nonetheless! Here we go, the home stretch before the finale!

Ahahahaha!! SUITS! That makes all the sense; I didn’t realize it – and Nanami is always in a suit, too, so…there we go! I agree; I love Levi, but Ash edges it out so well, though! My sweet Kagami – it was his time to shine but damn…I get it. And yeah, Thorfinn just needed a suit apparently and we’d be fine! Shunned, y’all! Yuuji winning over Haiji – I’ll take it for that reason you said! :) It’s funny how some rounds are more predictable than others in the Husbandos vs. Waifus but yes…so much fun and I’m excited for this home stretch!
