**DAWN OF HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

This is it, the final volume before I dive back into the anime after a year and a half! Hooooo boy, this has been a fun journey catching up with the manga and it's great to see it in its glory here but MAN....  

...This volume has some very hard-hitting chapters, that are sad, inspirational, melancholy, and downright disturbing...which makes sense as we're nearing the climax of the series! Here's one last hoorah before the plunge!

Ah, glad the finals are starting soon, it's often so hard to find something to say that's not colored by my interpretations of the finale, and we can't have that... Still absolutely love Magath as a character. Goodbye to him and to the bystander-no-more Keith Shadis. They may not be a canon ship, but they died next to the ship cannon, and that counts for something, right? Glad you read the preview. It's so ominous, what beautifully horrific phrasing

Ahhh, thank you for the kind words and comment! I agree -- Magath is such a character and I love him and Keith's last moments...yes, if not canon, then why on a literal ship?! :) :) And SO OMINOUS a preview! It's going to be a crazy month coming up, but maybe I'm ready!

Looking forward to the last parts and i'm going to echo cw and mostly hold my tongue. And with the Magath love, it was clear from the start that he wasn't like most of the Marleyans we get to see. In episode 2 when we have another Marleyan bullying war veterans with PTSD, we see Magath watch the Eldians join their families with a sorrowful look on his face (well as i interpret it, i guess he really just shows his regular sourface). When he later tells Willy that they are all devils i think we know he doesn't have an innate hatred for Eldians. If only that could have led to something more when he got control of the Marleyan military, he did go out like a boss though.

Thanks! I know that my beliefs are going to change as we go through the final parts (or not) so I appreciate that! YES, that moment of Magath watching from the internment camp should have been the sign (and was) from the start. It's great to see him finally get to DO something with his beliefs and stick to his ideals while saving others. :) Thanks for the comment!
