**PREMATURE -- or not -- HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

Sorry for my LONG intro -- it ends around the 28-minute mark, but there was SO much to talk about in this episode from the comments and then SO much to talk about AFTER the episode! I hope you enjoy my rambles!  

This episode made me really feel for Getou and for Gojo. With one so focused on training so he can be strong enough to never "lose another person" close to him, he neglects to notice the incredible spiral the other faces, until they finally snap and decide to pursue things how they see fit...even if it's resulting in genocide. And then the other characters...MY HEART goes out to this episode; it's my favorite of the season so far.

I don’t believe Getou was lying about his original beliefs of protecting the weak/non-sorcerers. I genuinely believe that HE believed that to be true UNTIL the Toji stuff happened and Haibara died. So, no, I don’t think he necessarily lied to Gojo when he said that killing all of those Star Plasma cult followers was pointless/meaningless. To me, when Getou saying that killing all non-sorcerers has meaning and is even for a great cause, he is still TECHNICALLY (because to him it makes sense, even though there are MANY flaws to his plan) staying true to the idea of jujutsu sorcerers not killing for “pointless” reasons. Also, that question of “Are the strongest because you’re Gojo Satoru? Or are the Gojo Satoru because you’re the strongest?” hits even harder when you realize just how few jujutsu sorcerers view Gojo as anything OTHER than the strongest. Like when Haibara died and Nanami asked “Why couldn’t they just leave everything to Gojo?” Reading Nanami ask that HURT my soul. Like Gojo is human just like everyone else and it’s so sad how often that’s overlooked by the Jujutsu society. So, Getou asking him that question definitely broke something in Gojo because Getou was supposed to be the strongest WITH him, was supposed to be the one person (other than Shoko) who saw him as Satoru.

That makes a lot of sense -- it's just sad that the meaning behind him wanting to kill the non-sorcerers goes in opposition of...the sorcerers mission to protect the non-sorcerers, hahahaha! But hey, at least Getou's living his best life now, right? RIGHT?! *nervous laugh* And yeah, that line about Gojo that Getou throws at him is such a slap in the face. Gojo's over here like, "But you didn't see me that way" and Getou's already moved on thinking Gojo's not going to follow him. I feel for Gojo because he really was blindsided by all of this. :( The one time I've REALLY felt bad for him, haha!! Thank you for the comment! :D

Board at the beginning was so wonderful. So many interesting thoughts and discoveries for me.

Ironically, I doubt the idea of erasing non-sorceres would make a lasting change. For once if sorcerers still are capable of cursing than it just a calm before a storm waiting to happen; a one special grade child that fails to control himself. Evolution itself is not static. Extinction events no matter how devastating don't last forever, life perceivers. And animals that do die come back in a form of another animal convergently evolving traits to fill similar niche left empty. Every environment has it's grazers and it's predator.
