**PEI MING-CENTERED HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

I will be the first to admit I am wrong -- and boy, if you'd told me in Volume 1 I would be enjoying Pei Ming and Xie Lian dynamics in this novel series, I'd have laughed at you! But here we are! And WOW, are they DYNAMIC!  

This chapter set adds to the chaos in ways I was NOT expecting -- characters of old are back in the game and we're FINALLY getting Pei Ming backstory...but what are we going to learn from it? That is the question!   

I also react to the Volume 6 cover (SO much to look forward to) and some MXTX fan goodies that were sent to me! Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Thanks for the reaction! We have PM's backstory revealed partially and bunches of old characters coming back such as the entire cast of Banyue Pass arc. And really, learning a second language can be helpful, especially when facing a 10 feet tall monster yelling some died-out language dated back hundreds of years ago ROFL. XL may be a martial god, but he can be cunning and smug if he wanted, unlike some of his colleagues that's all muscle and head empty. But when it comes to relationships, the poor guy is too pure for this world, luckily we have PM who has more than enough experience regarding this field LOL. The rain master seems to be someone with infinite tolerance, they're fine with helping XL 800 years ago to move rain from one place to another, shielding all kinds of people including PS, BY and SQX when needed, and doesn't even object BY having evil hybrid snakes (she can't just pull those snakes out of nowhere so likely she stashed quite a lot with her and rain master sees no problem with it) And this time they're coming into the mountain only because some of their villagers/ worshipers are kidnapped so they're fulfilling the responsibility as a god who's supposed to protect worshippers. Since the upper court is in total chaos right now, such action can be actually quite rare and precious...... PM, the No. 1 shipper of Hualian couple with the audacity to declare his devotion for this ship right in front of the two in question. Not only that, he even takes stuff into his own hand and create sweet moments of the ship himself by shoving E'Ming onto XL's lips. Can we all agree E'Ming/HC has a praise kink? And I don't blame him as that's the divine oracle coming from his God, he'd be in ecstasy as a fanatic for XL. Now 2 powerful ghosts are down and sealed away in pickle jar aka Poke balls, but given there's still more than 3 volumes' worth of chapters ahead, pretty sure the main course is yet to be served, but as always, CLIFFHANGER TIME!

I love the colour and feeling of movement with the Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian posters. That underwater Hualian kiss though 😍 I hope the pillow can help you a little for your pain. I did laugh at you saying you'd try to refrain from making d*ck jokes, especially considering so much of what happens with E'Ming in this chapter set is one big d*ck joke 🤣 My poor E'Ming getting backhanded by Hua Cheng 🥺 But it's really dramatic with how it acts afterwards...all potentially to garner sympathy from Xie Lian. You really do question why Xie Lian and Pei Ming's first reaction to someone new on the scene would be to try and hide their faces. But the moment you learn it's Kemo you have a complete understanding. Xie Lian's so smart! Considering Kemo had heard Xie Lian and Pei Ming speaking to one another, he uses that and so Ming Guang foolishly follows his directions. I have to say that Xie Lian using the current circumstances to his advantage is fitting for someone that's been around as long as Xie Lian has. It also shows he isn't rigid in his methods of fighting an opponent, but rather decides the best strategy case-by-case. I don't know if the different gestures are real gestures with such meanings for the different areas which Kemo and Ming Guang origins are based on, but I do know that hand gestures are not universal. Big one that comes to mind for me is the peace sign. In the UK and ROI (as well as I believe Australia and possibly New Zealand), if you do the peace sign but have the palm of your hand facing yourself it changes the meaning to basically being "f**k you" instead. Xie Lian automatically praising Ming Guang's legs really just shows what a geek he truly is for such martial arts 🤣 "when you complimented it grew bigger" if ever there was a better line to prove the connection between swords and d*cks in Tian Guan Ci Fu 🤣 But yes, Pei Ming needs to learn about consent! Mo Xiang Tong Xiu really went "How can I add more chaos to this craziness?" and decided and a whole Banyue Arc reunion 😆 And then Pei Ming grading Xie Lian on his kissing technique 🤣 I love how Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is able to weave the backstories of all these characters so fluidly into the absolutely bonkers situation they currently find themselves in. And that we're getting a little glimpse about the Rain Master before potentially even meeting them. Your comments about Pei Ming's solution for there being another arousal hit the ghosts made me imagine Pei Ming just grabbing Xie Lian and launching him at Hua Cheng...but then sticking around and critiquing their technique 🤣 Mo Xiang Tong Xiu has deeply mentally scarred us when it comes to physical affection towards swords so she's to blame for your thoughts veering down that path! 😂 Though with the concept of the anthropomorphism of inanimate objects it makes me so glad she *didn't* introduce such an idea in Mo Dao Zu Shi because then I'd feel even worse for Bichen. I love that picture. Pei Ming's just crouched getting his Hualian kick being all "Carry on, don't mind me" 🤣 We need to make posters for Pei Ming like how I've seen in American shows posters for Class President, only it's for the position of the Heavenly Realm's Sex Education Instructor! Because let's be realistic, whilst Xie Lian is probably the most unworldly when it comes to such a topic there are plenty of other heavenly officials that could probably reap some benefits from attending such a class.

That is interesting about the Rain Master being tolerant; yeah, they definitely seem more…chill…than some of the other elemental gods have seemed so far! And YES, Hua Cheng/E’Ming CLEARLY has a praise king! But can we blame him? It IS Xie Lian we’re talking about! OF COURSE a CLIFFHANGER, but let’s hope that Pei Su and Banyue brought plenty of pokeballs…ahem, jars, with them! 😛

Thank you for the kind words! I’m seeing a doctor, soon, so hopefully I get some answers! 🙂I should just expect the dick jokes at this point, right? @_@ At least as long as PM is involved. Hua Cheng trying to get onto his sex drive, if we consider E’Ming to be a visual representation of his….separated sexual desires, maybe? *coughs* I HAVE seen, through a baseball video of all things, how the peace sign reversed can mean something else, so that’s interesting! Xie Lian being super clever in the moment is always a fun thing! And Xie Lian’s universal language: Sword and Martial Arts Geekery! MXTX just being the MOST bonkers while also making sense is a talent I envy as a writer – I want inside her head for a hot second! But I’m not sure how long I’d want to stay there, ahhahaha!! Pei Ming as the HR’s sex educator is HILARIOUS – is it a good thing he’s with XL and HC? I guess we’ll see, eh? Thank you so much for the kind words and comment!
