**PAINFUL HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

The title of this episode is VERY fitting as there is lots of PAIN to go around -- but what a surprising episode! Or is it, since it's Vinland Saga?  Thorfinn's resolve, his connection to his father, while still being true to himself and his ideals - it's so damn inspiring. I cannot WAIT to see what his bold decision is going to lead him to, but man -- 

-- Thorgil went all out, Snake proves he's a complex badass, and Arnheid...Rest in Peace, my dear. You deserved FAR better than you and your family received. Perhaps Thorfinn can avenge you in his own way, now.

Loved the reaction, especially your comparisons of Canute's and Thorfinn's thinking about religion. I find it funny that Thorfinn's reaction to Canute having 100 highly trained soldiers is, yeah, I won't have any problems dealing with that-- see you in a bit, keep the engine running Leif! Like you, I don't know how the reunion is going to go. Since nothing in this series has really worked out great so far - at least from my perspective - I'm a little nervous. Anyway, can't wait for next week's reaction.

Thank you for the kind words and comment! The comparison and contrast with Canute and Thorfinn FASCINATES ME! But yeah, Thorfinn - you were having trouble with Snake, so you're going to take on...an entire ARMY? Okay. *nervous laughter* I'm soooooo nervous about this reunion, but at least we know it's going to be good telelvision, right?! I can't wait for next week, either!
