**POOLING HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

This originally was released before Death Parade began, but Patreon told me to watch between Episodes 6 and 7 -- and I'm glad I did!   

This was such a good "pilot" for the series, but feels better once you've spent a little bit of time with our characters, especially Decim in this. The voice acting, animation, and emotion was STELLAR throughout! A nice "breather" at the mid-point of the series!

What a episode. Okay, my theory is that since the young guy at the end admitted that he's full of flaws and regrets, Decim decided to let him reincarned. While the old man firstly didn't care what was going to happen to the other guy and just decided everything on his own at the beginning. I wouldn't be suprised if he knew he was dead from early on. At the end I guess he asked Decim to put him to Hell and the younger guy to Heaven because he thought that this gives him a save spot to go to heaven himself. And that's why he probably smiles so creepy because he thought he tricked Decim. It's always the scenes where Decim hugs someone and their cry in his arms that gets me emotional. I'm pretty sleepy so I'm sorry if some things that I wrote didn't make much sense. XD The young guy is voiced by Nakamura Yuuichi who voiced Guren in Seraph of the end, Kuroo in Haikyu and Gojo in JJK. Wish you a wonderful day!

Yessss, what an episode! I think your theory is pretty sound -- that apathy vs. passion may have been what persuaded Decim, And I agree; I think the old man thought he'd tricked Decim -- I agree, Decim hugging anyone is so intimate and tender. :3 That's also crazy to know the young man shares the same VA as Gojo and Kuroo!!
