*Headphone Warning*

After many months, I'M BACK, and I'm looking at the 2nd volume of the manga! There are SO. MANY. callbacks and parallels between this and where the anime had ended with season 4 part 2 -- and I have a feeling this is only the beginning! Time to refresh myself this spring before gearing up for the final part!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Yeah watch out for those spoilers, i know i've complained about the exact same thing before but once again YouTube spoiled me on a few things in season 4 part 3... part 1? (AoT always had a bit weird season lengths and time between them, but season 4 takes the cake) So again, i only have myself to blame... and those who put spoilers in their thumbnails and video titles i guess. I know there was that scientific evidence for people enjoying things more when told spoilers, but if that's the position science is going to take... then there might just be something to this flat-Earth thingy :P Back when you had those long AoT discussions i always wondered how you found the time to do it so in dept, and that was with hardly taking into consideration all those other series of yours i wasn't watching myself. So what i want to say is, take your time and do things when you feel like it, would be a bummer if the reactions became to much of a chore. That said, i do look forward to your part 3 reaction. Last volume i might have come of as a bit of "well... actually" about things being the same in the anime and manga but i still think the anime seems a very faithful adaptation, with a few "shots" framed differently and more gore shown in the manga. So i think i'll have to disagree with you about Mikasa, this far atleast to me, i interpret her pretty much exactly the same when it comes to expressing emotions. Now of course it's easy going from an animated and voice acted performance and subsume onto a manga version of a character, and people going from manga first having a bigger clash with expectations and interpretations of characters when going the other way. But perhaps i'm just locked in my anime interpretation of her and can't see the subtle differences there are.

HEY! Good to hear from you on here again! 😀Yessss, I’ve basically limited my experience on YT to directly looking up things, being in “incognito mode” or just answering comments through the “inbox” feature on there and it’s helped out a bunch. But YES, season 4 takes the cake in terms of how it’s “split apart.” As for people enjoying things when told spoilers – I would agree that if I wasn’t reacting, I would probably revel in the spoilers. But for the sake of the channel and the fact that I can’t “fake” emotion well, I’d say staying unspoiled is for the best, for now. Thank you for the well-wishes, too! If this spring hadn’t been so busy work-wise with several trips I’ve had to take, I may have been able to squeeze in the first portion of S4P3, but I would rather take my time and enjoy and savor these last bits of the anime than rush it, so I’m glad you all are on board with my doing it at my own pace. ^^ I don’t remember a lot of the comments from the last volume, honestly, but I’m sure you were fine! I do think that Mikasa has a bit more “expression” in the manga but it’s subtle little things – I definitely will have more to talk about with the art style and Eren in Volume 3. :) But I think it’ll be helpful that I haven’t gone back and re-watched the anime, so that things could be “fresh” with the manga readings! Thanks so much for the comment! It’ll be fun going back through everything this spring and summer!

I haven't watched any of the shows you're currently going through so just been lurking, but i'll pop up when you post something to my liking. :P Although, i have been considering getting into Vinland Saga.

Lurking can be fine! :D Thanks for the support! ^^ But YES! I am LOVING Vinland Saga -- there's some nice connections with some thematic things from AOT, but it is still VERY much its own unique series. :) I've really been enjoying it.
