**NATIONALS-LEVEL HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

Nationals brings on MANY emotions with our boys -- from excitement, to nervousness and doubt, to ambition and competitiveness -- Kirisaki, Kazemai, and Tsujimine all have different feelings surrounding this tournament!   

I love how Minato and Nikaido both serve as anchors for their team in their own ways and I'm so happy to be at the finals with these boys!

"That bottle of water is animated better than my life." LOL! What a great line! I think the water around Seiya's feet also harkens back to the story that Fuwa told of the legendary Japanese archer. The one who shot a flag on a bobbing boat. He waited for the perfect shot. At the beginning of the season, Minato focused on himself too much and "threw off" his team's timing. Here, he intentionally "reset" the rhythm to get the team back in sync. Because being in sync is not just about "matching up" to a prescribed set of movements. It's also about listening and responding dynamically to those around you. (As any choir member or orchestra musician will tell you!) As for Nikaido, I think he's slowly starting to feel the power of friendship and teamwork. He's still grumpy, though. He reminds me a bit of Yurio (from Yuri on Ice) in this episode.

I saw the water as representing the turbulence that Seiya was feeling (aka rocking the boat) and the Minato waiting for the water to settle before shooting, but yes it also fits Fuwa's story as well. Yes, Nikaido is such a grumpy pissy cat or fox in this case.

@WuXian_Suibian I really like that interpretation as well! Minato waiting for the calm to settle and HA! Yes, Nikaido is such the grumpy cat/fox that doesn't seem to want to be petted...but secretly is all about it. :P

@Aaron, Ooooh, I hadn't thought about that analogy and connection! That's great! It matches with Fuwa being invested in Kazemai, against all odds, as well! And that's a nice tie in with choir/orchestra - I have next to zero experience with that, so it's good to know! And ahahaha, Ooooh, Nikaido is very much like Yukio! :3 Does that make Fuwa like Otabek? ^^

i love that the umbrella has been a representative motif for tsujimine throughout the season. it's tattered and run down, but it's also something that unifies them and is also a symbol of their tenacity through their hardships and challenges. & god the watercolor/pastel animation of nikaido's last shot was breathtaking! i got quite teary eyed when nikaido closes his eyes and recalls the faces of his teammates who deeply care for him <3

I think Shu's sister will get the parents to come and watch. "Wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have to." Is actually really sad. Being the "coach" comes with so much responsibilities and is probably something he doesn't even want to do. The others waiting so long for Nikaido to come back that no one is even there anymore was so sweet. I love them. All of Sujimine taking their shots together was beautiful. I had to rewind a few times because I just loved it so much. Kyoani with the water animation. Of course. XD I loved the flashback. Seeing how they came together one after another and how they trained was nice to see. Thr animation was so beautiful. I feel like we haven't seen Sujimine miss their shots while Kazemai missed a lot so I was actually really shocked that Sujimine lost. Fuwa using the bottle to push Nikaido's hood up felt so flirty. That made my heart jump. I wasn't expecting to cry at the scene in the bus. I have gotten so attached to Sujimine that it makes me really sad that Aragaki and Higuchi will not be in the team if we get a 3rd season, I still hope that we will get to see them from time to time. Depending how the season ends I can imagine it getting another season. I at least hope we get more. I want to be someone like Fuwa or Ryohei but I'm like a mix of Nikaido and Kaito. Yes, that's a great point about the umbrella and what it stands for them! Seeing them under that umbrella is SUCH a good shot! <3 And YES, Nikaido transforming into water color -- realizing the power of the NAKAMA -- YES, I absolutely agree, it was a beautiful moment! <3 Thank you so much for the kind words and comment!

That would be amazing, right?! Shu deserves to see his parents supporting him! Nikaido -- he's such a troubled kid, but I want the best for him -- and him realizing he has a team that supports him is so sweet -- I LOVED them waiting on him, too! <3 That was so cute! And YES, the simultaneous shots -- SO good! KyoAni will always be amazing with those dang water shots! And I agree -- I was SHOCKED Tsujimine lost -- they saved that surprise that it was ONE shot for the last moment; it was crazy! But ooohhh, Fuwa was SO being flirty with Nikaido an d the hood! Seriously, what a shippable moment with these two! I'm really sad, though, that Aragaki and Higuchi are not going to be on the team, but I hope they come back as well to help Tsujimine in the future, too! I really hope we get another season! I am crossing my fingers SO HARD! And you're Nikaido and Kaito! I never would have guessed that from your comments, but that's not a bad thing! :) Thank you for the comment and have a great day, too!
