**SHOCKING FLASHBACK HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

This show has this amazing ability to have most of the episode be a heartwarming, slice of life character study and then in the last five minutes pull the rug out from under you and leave you a shocked heap in the floor.

Seiya is the focus of this episode, as we see that our "stable and reliable" young man has been inside anything BUT that, as he deals with his guilt, disillusion, and growing anger at his inability to fully "connect" to the person he cares for most...and being surrounded by hotties like Masa and Shu IS NOT HELPING. Holy cow. WHAT a way to enter the final act of the season!

This one hurt. Poor Seiya. From his perspective, life is relentlessly eroding his sense of self-worth! Shu's arrow found the chink in his armor. Now Seiya is vulnerable to misunderstandings and coincidences that he might have handled better under normal circumstances. (Although that comment by his dad is worrying.) Thanks to you and whiteboard-kun, I'm recognizing more depth in this story than I would have noticed otherwise. It makes for a much more enjoyable watch!

Right?! I felt so bad for Seiya -- it's really sad to see a character that everyone is convinced is the "anchor" of the team and see that he's been suffering behind closed doors and to himself and it's concerning. :( And thank you so much for the kind words and comment! I love that Whiteboard-kun has been able to be brought out for this show; I didn't expect to use it like I have for this series, but I love that, too! :D
