**HOLDING OUT FOR HEROIC HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

What a volume! After five innings of standstill between Inashiro and Seidou, there's finally movement! I love that we get third year backstory, Parents, Shirasu revealing his true nature, Asou being a "hero," and of course, our ace Sawamura being the biggest supporter!

There is so much to talk about with this volume but this game is heating up! So, how are Mei and Furuya going to handle the second half of the game?

2022-10-17 08:19:28 I’m here for my Miyuki rant cdjakdakjd This whole volume feels like a MeiMiyu fanfic and I’m here for it Before I go wild with my Mei-Miyu business I have to talk about two points: the Kuramochi-Haruichi and Shirasu vs Mei because damn there is a lot to say there. I like how Kuromachi is hanging/fighting with Mei especially since they’re from the same generation; Mei doubting himself is quite new but at the same time it kind of makes sense?? I mean, Mei likes to think that he knows his own game so maybe he thinks there is a better way?? Idk but it shows how good Mochi is as a batter that even Mei has to second guess himself and boy he was in the zone, i really loved when he was like “I don't care what you throw, just throw it” because he was so concentrated that he just wanted to bat and it did paid off, forcing Mei to walk him. In the other hand, the mini backstory of Shirasu was sad, showing how he always had that extra drive but he was alone but after coming to Seido he found people just like him and I really loved how he mentions Miyuki and Mochi going to the first string in their first year because when you think about it he really did share a year with two naturally talented people and then Mei hit him… No gonna lie at the moment it was kind of funny, all that hype for a dead ball JASDASDAKD But goes to show how frustrated Mei was getting, for Mei to hit someone when he has that really good control is surprising AND THE COMMENTATOR GOING “SHIRASU GOES CAMNLY TO FIRST” JASDAKDADDAJ My man Shirasu yelled ‘Damn!’ quite loud. And finally, the whole MeiMiyu thing. Miyuki really be collection those genius pitchers as If it was nothing but it goes to show how special he actually is (I do agree with you, Miyuki is a prodigy at my eyes and no one can change my mind), I have always find curious the interest that Mei shows towards Miyuki bc from the beginning of Daiya he has a different treat with him, its like Mei really sees greatness and a friend in Miyuki. I did love how TJ showed how both carry important things (Mei as the ace and Miyuki as the captain). But those two reading each other was funny. As MeiMiyu battery I do agree with you, I think at some point they would start to fight against other (we always say that Mei is a diva but Miyuki is not that different, If anything the reason he is different is bc he is right most of the time but until now all his pitchers listen to him and he gets his way). Regarding Miyuki; he really is becoming a terrifying batter, for Kunitomo to think it is alright to walk him and Miyuki hitting the change up to the outfield DAMN I like how you mention the reasons for Miyuki going pro and how Furuya realize that too. I find it interesting how Miyuki is constantly expanding the path for Sawamura and Furuya; their beginning was when Miyuki caught their pitches back in season one and now he is showing them the world beyond: the pros. All that aside, I loved this volumen<3 I hope you have a nice day<3 BTW sorry for my englishDD:

Don't feel too bad about not realizing you could only bunt 3 times lol it only happened I think 1 other time in this series. They don't really pay much attention to that rule but yeah you only have 3 shots. If you don't get any of them you're out. If you bunt twice and fail and then switch to normal hitting and hit a foul that foul just counts as a foul though and you're not out yet. Carlos is such a tricky batter and it always really impresses me. It's like he sees right into the pitchers brain and knows exactly what to do to shake them. It's definitely funny to see Shirakawa be so damn salty over Miyuki lol. Miyuki must have no clue why Shirakawa hates him so much (and neither do I 🤣) but Shirakawa seemingly wishing Miyuki was an "ordinary catcher" is very funny too. Of course he won't be ordinary Shirakawa. When has he ever been. I agree that Miyuki is a prodigy though. I feel like it's such a hit and miss term in this series cuz some players who are amazing just worked really hard for that but some absolutely had the advantage being prodigious. I know that spread of Shirakawa was pretty dope but I genuinely hate how arrogant his speech was about how they know victory so they'll never lose. Like okay dude. It's really wild that Yamaoka is the only batter in Inashiro history to be trusted so much that the coach won't give him signs. Them telling us that is giving me Ichidai vibes though lol. In the semi finals when the coach said that Hoshida was the best batter Ichidai has ever had in their history 🤣 death flag? Ah man. The Asou catch lol. I applaud him for doing the most to catch that ball. We did not need 2 or 3 more runs added so I'm glad he went for it. The angle of hitting the top of your head against the wall is still a little confusing to me but oh well lol I'm so glad that Miyuki made sure to build Furuya up a little bit as he was telling him why the ball went that far. Important to keep Furuya positive in this game. God the flashbacks in this volume are just so sweet and so nice to see. Mochis Mom looking so happy for him and proud of him is just the sweetest. I love seeing it. She seems like a very cool mom. Also that cover with Mochi on it was current 3rd year Mochi facing us and middle school blonde Mochi facing the other way. I adore that cover. I feel like Mei and Itsuki not agreeing on pitches by this point is just a staple to their battery now lol. I think they have more telepathic communication now so they can talk it out while disagreeing but I don't know that they would ever stop disagreeing fully lol I would've never expected Shirasu flashbacks if I'm honest but I am so grateful we got them because it really made me just love his character even more. He's always been so stoic and serious but seeing how GENUINELY happy he was to come to a place where he can focus on baseball just melts my heart. I love him. That baby MiyuMei cover page is probably in my top 3 cover pages of the entire series. Its adorable and I just love that after so long TJ finally said "okay here's how they met". Yes sir thank you very much lol I'd love to see a page where Itsukis looking up stupid jokes lol. I dunno why I'd like to see that but I really would love to see him slaving away over memorizing these jokes. The chapters of Miyuki and Meis past and their current relationship are easily some of my favourite chapters ever. I love seeing how genuinely they think of eachother and how much they both admire and respect eachother. It's super sweet. I dont know how many friends Miyuki had as a kid but I think its easy to say that Mei is his longest lasting friend and I just love that. Also, I think this is the first time we've seen Miyuki talk about visional training with anyone's pitch. Raichi does it, Shirasu does it and Tetsu did it but we've never heard Miyuki talk about memorizing the look of a pitch and replaying it over and over in his head so he'd be prepared for it. He was looking forward to this rematch so badly. I could scream to the heavens all day about Miyuki Toku and it still wouldn't be enough. The absolute love and FONDNESS I have in my chest for this man is astronomical. Him taking the day off work to watch his son play what could be his last ever high school game is just... ugh. I want to shove this volume in people's faces who say they have a bad relationship. Inashiro is definitely the king of lucky draws. They get consistently very lucky with the tournament brackets lol. They're a good team but they absolutely get very lucky with draws and it makes them less prepared for a real fight. It's very cute how Fuku came to the mound talking about what a big fan he is of the team. Very sweet. I still don't think he's the best captain for them but he's trying and he does what he can which I appreciate and respect. I think you may have some PTSD from haikyuu with all this fever talk lmao. Any time Furuya or anyone says they feel warm it's like you have war flashbacks 🤣🤣 I loved this volume so much, might be my favourite volume of the whole game tbh but I can't wait for you to see what's coming next 🎉🎉

RIGHT?! OMG – it DID feel like a MeiMiyu fanfic – this game has teetered between that and a MiyuSawa fanfic, so what can we do, eh?? :D I have loved how Kuramochi have come to his own seemingly in the Semifinal and Final! It’s been so good! I love Mei vs. Kuramochi!! And ahhh, Shirasu!! His backstory, seeing how strongly competitive he has always been, and see him be so fierce; it was WONDERFUL! And yes, for MEI to throw a DEADBALL is insanity! That commentator was cracking me up, too! Shirasu letting his emotion out and Seidou being so surprised is one of my favorite parts of the volume!! And yesss, Mei has always had heart eyes for Miyuki, but Miyuki hasn’t felt the same; the ultimate unrequited love between these two and I agree; it’s for the best they’re not together because their personalities are actually QUITE similar! And it’s saying something when Kunitomo says it’s OKAY to walk someone, you’re right! And yesss, Miyuki clearly wants his pitcher duo to to go pro with him…and I hope they do, too!! This volume was amazing! Thank you so much for the comment and honestly, your English is perfectly fine! :) Have a great day, too!

2022-10-17 08:19:29 Oh good! I was afraid I missed something with the bunt rule! :) I agree, if any batter really makes me nervous in this game, it’s Carlos, because he has that air of unpredictability, but you KNOW he’s good! And honestly, Shirakawa, what HAS Miyuki done to you?! I can’t help but poke fun at Shirakawa, but I’ll admit he gets a badass moment and double-spread in this volume. Yeah, that speech was dripping with arrogance. “Okay, dude!” hahahaha! And ooohhh, I hadn’t considered the connection between Hoshida and Yamaoka! Oh WOW, death flags indeed, eh? @.@ Speaking of death flags, Asou, huh? Haha, I do love that he gave his all to catch that ball, especially after telling the team he’d been in a bad place during the semifinal. @_@ Hopefully, his head is okay! Miyuki definitely doing his part to keep Furuya in good spirits, indeed! I love the family flashbacks so much in this game! Mochi’s mother being proud…*sigh* The moment we get SAWAMURA family flashbacks….it’ll be the end of me! Haha! The cover with him was so cool! And Itsuki and Mei never FULLY being on equal terms part of the battery, eh? I would love to see Itsuki “researching” all the jokes for Mei! Maybe Harada gives him pointers? The Shirasu flashback and backstory is the most welcome surprise of the volume! I love how Seidou is SO surprised by how angry he gets and with his outburst! I do love how sweet it is that he came to Seidou and is able to play the baseball he loves there! :3 Seriously, this entire game is a MiyuMei backstory unrequited-love-arc between them and how they’ve parted ways and found the loves of their lives on their own teams and I just love TJ for it…yes, that cover page is SO CUTE! And yesss, Mei is clearly Miyuki’s longest held friend. I love it and their flashback chapters so much, too! Miyuki is definitely obsessed with beating Mei once and for all, to the point of memorizing his pitch Raichi-style. It’s insanity! Also, Miyuki’s father…*sigh* I love the chapters of him watching SO SO MUCH too! It makes my heart swell as well and it’s so wonderful! <3 Yeah, anyone who says they have a bad relationship is in denial this volume exists. And yessss, Inashiro having an “easy” tournament bracket is all catching up – Fukuda is super sweet for in getting his team all built up! :) And ahahaha, me? PTSD? HAIKYUU? WHAT?! Haha, maybe – Furuya just makes me nervous any time he seems remotely warm, haha!! Thank you so much for the kind words and comment! I honestly loved this volume and I’m excited for 32!
