This volume was really amazing and learn a lot thanks to you Romania hahaha! I actually felt 2hrs of watching ends so fast hahaaha I like all your thoughts about the parallels and I remembered when this volume released, there's been a speculation or rumor that Hak is Yuhon's son hahaha because the heck! they kinda look alike 🤣🤣🤣. Your rv really made my day as always and excited to know your povs on the next volume. Yeah!!!!

romaniablack

Hak as Yu-hon's son! Ahhhhh, if he and Soo-won turned out to be brothers, that would be insanity! Hahahaha! But they are SO similar, I agree! That's part of why Soo-won likes him, maybe! ;) But thank you so much for the kind words and comment! I'm SO excited to read the next volume and see where this goes!

Yayyy you’ve finally reached the parent past arc. Yonghi is such an interesting character to unravel. Cause if you really think about it, it’s really tragic and sad that hiryuu’s bloodline just end up inheriting a severe illness generations after generations like they don’t even have divine powers like the dragons have😂😭so talk about getting the short end of the stick. But in all seriousness Yonghi and Yuhon’s relationship was really heartwarming to me in its own way. The way Yuhon faithfully kept waiting for her even after she stopped showing up was everything!!

Yessss, Yon-hi's frustration at getting the short lifespan like the dragons, but without any of the powers is SO frustrating! But seriously, I've gave Yu-hon such a hard time, and here he is having this amazing and romantic relationship with her. Kusanagi knows how to subvert our views on characters! Thank you for the comment!

I just love how Zeno clocked the whole Yona can’t see us because she must know of the king illness thing, and decided to take things into his hands and straight forwardly tell Su Won that he knows about it: meaning there is no reason for you to keep her away from us!! Very smart short circuiting there from Zeno !! Our eternal teenage dragon rule !!

And yeah, in my culture, people sometimes say, women seek similarities of their fathers in their bf/husbands 😁 so yeah old Su Won must see a lot of Yu Hon in Hak for sure 😄

I'm glad it's not just in my culture that there's that saying with husbands/dads -- the same goes for guys looking for partners like their mothers, too, I guess. But also, yes! Zeno is genius and best boy, and I love when he decides that "enough waiting, let's do this!" It's great! :)

I've been reading for the last two volumes, that came out in japan, chapter for chapter and it did feel better when I could read the volumes. I'm so happy that we are finally at this backstory. Now that all the main characters are here, we need that, we need to know what happend between the adults. What caused this situation? Who's fault is it? Is anyone even really at fault at all? This whole series we were meant to believe that Yu-hon was a bad person. And he isn't. He did bad things but he isn't a bad person. The Yu-hon/Yong-hi and Hak/Yona parallels are for sure interesting. Soo-won taking off his robes was delicious. I wouldn't say Soo-won is "obssesed" with Zeno's powers. Mizari was but Soo-won is more like interested in it. If the dragons would be real, I could see how Kija's and Jae-ha's powers work but immortality? I would want to know more. That's how I see it but I could be wrong. I could see if Soo-won really is the last one with the blood that it could end with his death. The reason they get sick is so that the crimson dragon gets reincarnated. But if no one with that blood exists he shouldn't be able to get reborn, meaning that the dragons don't need to have the dragon warriors anymore. So I definitely can imagine that this could go somewhere. A detail I like is that Yu-hon says he could also die anytime. And from what we know he did die before her. Despite her having that Illness, he did first, just like he said that it could be possible. What I like about how Kusanagi writes characters that are similar is that they still are different. They aren't a copy. They share things but they also have things that aren't in common. I could write a whole essay on that art of kid Soo-won with the crown. But I will do that later for a different volume. Ill kinda deserved that punch in the end. I cannot wait for the next volume. I love to listen to your theories and thoughts on this series. Wish you a wonderful day!

I'm definitely a fan of reading per volume, so that's probably how I'll try to keep it once I catch up. :) And yessss, the question of "who is at fault" or if it's "everyone" that has contributed to the cycle of hatred and violence in how we got here. I love that we get the parallels with characters, especially Hak/Yona and Yu-Hon/Yon-hi -- at this point, though, I think what I was trying to articulate is that Hak has shown he can keep his bloodlust in check...so far, anyway. He's fought troops in battle, but when he's thought about killing "everyone" in a scene, he's managed to reign it back in, thinking of Yona (and Soo-won ironically enough), whereas Yu-Hon saw through with killing like with Xing. Kusanagi loves to draw Soo-won, though, doesn't she? That's a good note about Soo-won being fascinated by the powers; I can't say I wouldn't be curious, but I'm glad he's not s fanatical about it as Mizari and Gobi have been. Yeah, I wondered in the discussion if the Crimson Dragon's rebirth and the Dragons were tied to the family with the blood of Hiryuu -- it's cruel, though, if Soo-won dying means the dragons can have their freedom. Oof. We'll see where Kusanagi goes with that, though. And yessss...having read Volume 34, and sobbed, I can say that it took me an hour to talk about it and I still have so much I want to say, especially about kid Soo-won and him taking on the mantle of his father's legacy. But yeah, more on that next volume...and probably Volume 35 when I get to it. Both Il and Yu-hon having their good and bad attributes and Kusanagi making them fully fleshed out characters? How dare she! ;) Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!
