**HEADPHONE WARNINGS ABOUND**

What is this Act II and how is it so crazy and wonderful this early?! We get nostalgia hitting Miyuki at full force, as he contemplates that he only has THREE MONTHS left to play with Seido (not ready for that to be over! NOPE!); we also get Inashiro shutting out the competition, Ochiai...making sense?!, and Jersey numbers being discarded to re-stack the roster for the upcoming summer tournament...the last for our third years. No big deal. Nope. I am totally fine. 

The flashbacks, thematic elements, humor, and all the possibilities being brought up in this set of episodes - this series just hasn't MISSED in Act II, has it?

You really brushed Teitou FULLY under the rug 😭 lmao that's wild. Poor Inui. I'm glad you found something redeemable in Mukai. I dont love him but I actually love the way he thinks about pitching and the way his style is so different to anyone else. He's a sidearm like Nori but he's a southpaw and he would rather pitch his way, which is more fun for him, than pitch how people think he should. He throws a lot of balls to bait the batters, which can be his downfall, but I like that he stays true to what's fun and interesting for him. I think I almost spoiled that Ochiai was a catcher like last season but I didn't remember when they tell you that so I'm glad I held off on it 🤣 he definitely is a typical catcher though I think him and Kataoka are both equally too controlling to work as a battery lol One of the cutest and smallest things in these episodes that I always notice is that when they're showing the entire team doing batting practice, Kanemaru is practicing his bunts and that relates back to the Ichidai game when Sawamura was on base and Kanemaru just couldn't get him home or to third because he failed his bunts off Amahisa. I think its really cool that he noticed an issue and wanted to fix it immediately so that doesn't happen again. Ah the Miyuki montage. It hurts everytime lol it's nice to actually get some insight into Miyukis thoughts about Sawamuras work ethic and how he feels about his optimism cuz I feel like it's always hidden behind teasing jokes or snide comments but you can't hide in a romantic montage Miyuki Kazuya. Reminding us about 3 months was unnecessary though lol. Honestly just rude. Mochi thinking Sawamura was mad at him/them honestly makes me so sad. It's gotta be such a stark difference for them to go from happy, supporting Sawamura to cold and quiet Sawamura. Anyone would assume he was mad at them when he changes so drastically. Mochi has always been so into helping and supporting Sawamura too so it must make it even worse for him. Like he let his little brother down. Sawamura demanding to meet in Miyukis room was absolutely a start of a lot of fan fics lol. Clearly he intended for it to be 1 on 1 with them two but once they all heard about Sawamura wanting to learn, they all wanted to learn too. What a trend setter lol I love the line about "we can't let him outshine us like this". It's just so sweet and genuine and coming from Miyuki it's the best. Him saying "he always exceeds our expectations so I have to exceed his too" UGH my heart and soul. Its amazing the way TJ brought Chris from season 1 back to show how far he's come and how much those words nestled in Sawamuras brain until it was really able to make sense of it. Trying to find all the ways to make himself better and to improve so he can be the Ace and be more reliable to the team and he lands on Chris' advice. It's so good. Something I love about Okumura is his genuine and intense respect for people who work hard. You can tell he respects Sawamura as a pitcher and even without knowing everything he's been through to get here, he knows he works hard and he wants to work hard too to reach his level. The flashback for Okumura makes me so sad for him. I cannot forgive someone who stole my baby Koushus smile from him like that. Literally the very next scene after his coach revealed his true colours, his eyes went dull. It's so sad. He was too young to be so numbed to something he loved doing. Asada is such a terrified, awkward bean lol. All we've seen of him in this intrasquad is just scared and awkward and it's so cute lol The way Okumura makes friends is honestly so cute and relatable for a lot of people. He clearly has such a plethora of thoughts about people around him and he likes people who work hard and aren't showy so to think that the entire time him and Asada were eating in silence after everyone else that Koushuu was considering him a friend is just so cute I can't handle it. Excited to see the continuation of the first year's next week lol 🎉

Hahahaha, I REALLY did. @_@ I feel for Inui, though I am glad that I appreciate Mukai’s character more, now, especially that he does things his way and has fun with it. Ochiai being a catcher is WONDERFUL – it explains his behavior and how him and Kataoka work together to form the craziest batter of coaching for Seido; I love it! I’ve noticed Kanemaru really remembers things and works to correct them; that’s a nice character trait with him! That Miyuki montage…ugh…YES, Miyuki showing that he actually DOES appreciate Sawamura and it’s not just like his snide jokes, but uhm…yes, that montage was romantic. And I’m not over the fact that there’s only three months left with our third years. Nope. #denialcentral You know what’s also sad? Kuramochi thought Sawamura was mad at them – yeah, Sawamura switching from hot to cold really had THAT impact! @_@ I love that this helps to show the “big brother” quality of Kuramochi and how he really does support Sawamura like a brother. :3 I can SO see how that “meeting in Miyuki’s room” was a fan fic subject! And I love that it went from 1 on 1 to a whole room full! Sawamura attracting everyone with his sun beam! :) And Miyuki clearly showing his respect for Sawamura with those lines! MY HEART AND SOUL INDEED! <3 And Sawmura taking Chris’s advice to heart so much is the sweetest thing; Chris-senpai will always be a teacher to Sawamura and I love that. Okumura seems super intense and cold, but with that comes his genuine respect for people and I love it, too. I do feel bad for him to lose the light out of his eyes and to go through a harsh lesson like that so early on. I DO love how true to himself he is and his relationship with Asada is so sweet and wholesome! And Asada is just the most awkward, adorable bean and I love these two so much already! :) It’s going to be fun to see how Sawamura’s “sunshine” affects them both! Thank you for the comment!!
