Oh ho ho, picking right up where we left off, we get more into Yu's impatient character, into Guren's not-so-different character, and meet two new characters: Shinoa Hiiragi (who I love already) and Yoichi!   

We also learn some helpful tidbits about the vampires that make me think Ferid and Mikaela may be "not quite dead yet," but we'll have to see, eh?

watching this again after a while I'm like...Yuu is so stupid but also because of this I love him so so much :,) He is still my absolute favorite from the show and I have watched both seasons. Can't wait until you get to the part when you can dinally watch the op and ed. Also casting Shinoa's VA later as Shinobu? great choice. Have a great week :)

Yuu is definitely endearingly brick-headed in this, but I can't help but like him! And yesss....soooon! Also, YES, Shinoa's voice! You can hear the Shinobu there and I love it, too! Thanks for the comment and have a great week as well!

Ah, poor Yuu, having to make friends! He's such a stubborn kid but after all he's been through I don't blame him for not wanting to get close to people. I'm surprised Mika dying didn't completely break him but like I said, he's stubborn and it seems to be keeping him from that darkness. The vampires in this kind of reminds me of the demons in Demon Slayer, they can only die to a special weapon. But unlike the demons in demon slayer, vampires can't die by the sun in this series but it is uncomfortable. Kind of like a sun burn I suppose. The world they live in now is a lot different, an apocalyptic world with vampires and creatures running around. I may have to re-read the manga because I'm forgetting a lot of things and I haven't watched the anime in a few years so it's pretty fun re-watching it with you! And yeah, Yoichi has the same VA as Bakugo and Shin-ah. In most anime he usually has a quieter voice and I think Bakugo is an exception with how loud and gravely his voice is.

Yesss, our boy Yuu is so stubborn, even losing his childhood friend hasn't broke him -- but then, it's given him the resolve to hunt vampires, so... And YES! I am going to comment with Episode 3, but I got a Demon Slayer vibe, too! I love the range that Yoichi's VA has! It's amazing -- definitely reminds me more of Shin-ah, but it has me excited for his voice acting in this series!

I can see the hesitation because getting close to his other family ending in a brutal traumatic way is just too sad ontop of his original family not wanting him so yes this ended on a light night yay & it was very funny. I was not expecting it to be so funny so yes looking forward to the next episode.⭐It would be nice if Mika was alive I really loved there relationship & grew connected to him not only as a character but as someone who'd do anything for his family. I guess we'll have to see.

Yessss, the idea of him getting close to a new family after losing ALL of his prior one; I get Yu's hesitation, for sure! But the humor added to this show is great! And ahhh, Mika. Well, now you know! :)
