This set of episodes is even funnier than the last! I love the chaotic antics of our Soukoku and Shin Soukoku boys, showing how similar and different they are! Now, if you can give me Chibi Oda, Chibi Guild, and some Chibi Mori x Fukuzawa moments...I'll be fully satisfied! ;)

This show always gives me a good laugh and I almost forgot about the dancing part! Of course Chuuya knows how to dance, I wouldn't expect any less from him! Akutagawa's expressions in this series is the best thing, seeing so many emotions from him compared to the actual series where he's so serious all the time just makes him one of my favorites so much more. Thankfully because of this show anyone could show up who might be dead or we haven't seen in awhile, non-canon series like these you can go crazy with! I miss Odasaku a lot too so here's hoping he pops up!

Chuuya is a man of many talents; we shouldn't be surprised, haha!! And seriously, every time Akutagawa popped up with one of those ridiculous blank expressions...I just DIED. And yesssss, I just need Oda in chibi form and I'll be happy! ^^

Randou was so adorable in this. Chuuya being a dog person is wonderful and his new hat was cute. Kunikida looked so proud of his "horror" story. The dancing one was too funny. I haven't watched these so I also have no Idea who we will see. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Dogs is one Dazai’s official dislikes in cannon. There’s a funny scene in the main manga around where Q makes an appearance. Dazai as the dog in the Boy and the Puppy episode is crazy ridiculous. I would probably react how Chuuya did lol. But I think my favorite moment in these is probably “I want to become a marshmallow”. The music in that scene!! When it shifts to that sort of sad, serious music and Dazai has such a melancholy expression on his face.. You’re like “what’s this about?” …”I want to become a marshmallow, preferably a s’more” 😵‍💫. And yes, Miyano Mamoru’s acting is perfection. The “squeeze, squeeze..” OMG. We got our Soukoku and Shinsoukoku eps this time. The difference in their relationships is stark. Wan Aku does seem soft on the inside, but his tsundere armor is extreme. Chuuya is just soft. I love how he gets worried about Dazai so easily in the 14 ep. They’re supposed to hate each other, but they seem to do everything together (judging by the notebook of Dazai’s grievances we get a peak at). Dazai, if you’ve recorded 27 volumes worth of annoying moments with Chuuya, your fixation is really showing. Which fits with his 15 and Stormbringer personality. I also love how they both admit that they think the other is cool in their internal dialogues at the beginning. We got the callback to Mori saying he might not be suited for Port Mafia boss in 15. And we got the callback to Dazai telling Aku that Atsushi is far superior to him. Those words from season one that will haunt Aku forever. 😕 Though this time it’s because he’s too serious to take a joke. And yes, Aku’s thinking/confused/concentrating face with the big eyes is amazing! His voice acting was great in this too. And this came out early this year, so they used material that lines up with what’s been animated so far in season 3. Which is why I hope they do a new one after each season with new material. I’ve started reading later Wan volumes for my Japanese practice and there’s plenty of material I’d really love to see animated. Poe is so precious!! Random, but I had to say it. You’ve given me some other material to look out for. Chibi Lovecraft would be amazing.. Oh, and in the Dazai and Chuuya shopping ep, there are little dog/tiger Aku and Atsushi figurines in the wine stand if you didn’t notice. My favorite episode is coming up in the next batch. I think I remember reading early on in the manga that Dazai hated dogs. Aw, but also, Chuuya's reactions in this are priceless. Mamoru's acting in the marshmallow and squeeze moments...this man....he's just having way too much fun with this role! XD And yessss, the shipping! Show, you're fooling no one in this! I love all the callbacks to the show, and SERIOUSLY -- Akutgawa's wide-eyed "thinking" face is just...I can't...it gets me every damned time! XD It makes sense that this is more recent, as it lines up with the new season -- I really love that, and Poe is beyond precious! I would LOVE chibi Guild -- the jokes you could do with Steinbeck, Lovecraft, and Fitzgerald? So many possibilities! Oh, and I didn't notice the tiger/dog figures on the wine stand! That's so cute! :) And yessssssssssss, my favorite episode (so far) is next and I'm so excited for it! Thank you for the kind words and have an awesome day, too!
