I can’t help but think of the OP when I see the three kids in Orvud. Eren’s left all that behind it seems but still can be an ace for the fight for humanity. Historia saying she is the true ruler was so satisfying! She has grown so much as a character since S1E3. The ace and our queen ship? Let’s gooo~ 😂 Rod and Kenny are so much more interesting compared to how they are initially seem on the surface. They are not nice people but you can see they have something motivating them as the main characters in their own story. Rod has given up hope of eliminating all the Titans and can only resort of blind faith and worship of a God that can see all of the world’s history. Kenny has some dream entangled in the background he has with Levi and Uri.

YES! That's a great tie-in -- the idea of the next generation and Eren realizing he can be Humanity's ace, flawed as he is -- also Historia taking charge was wonderful. I love how much she's grown and can we call this ship "Ace and the Queen?" I'm down! :) YES! Oh my gosh...Rod and Kenny on the surface versus now (and the next episode?)...my impression first versus now has changed so much! Isayama does it again, eh?

Chairs 2.0 😂. I love it. There are plenty of opportunities for a lantern scene in this civilization without electricity. The flashback scene with Yumir and Historia in the snow comes to mind immediately. I will be watching for them. Lanterns seem to be a level up from chairs indeed. XD I like the way you put it talking about the first person view we get from Rod’s Titan. Is that what the Titian’s stuck in the nightmare see? Just being mindlessly drawn to all those lights inside the humans. That can’t even see anything else. Reminded my of Season 2 op. And it isn’t fair at all that we get an illegible, made up language 😩. I mean it’s an incredible detail that makes this world feel more authentic, which I really appreciate, but come on! Still not fair.

Fun fact: The scene in the last episode when Eren was crying after they unchained him, Yuki Kaji (Eren's VA) said that it was one of the only times he actually cried while recording a crying scene, like he was all into it and did a great job..........all for the recording staff to tell him that he was too quiet in that take lol

The level up from chairs to lanterns. XD I think this Titan was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in an anime. The poor kids will be traumatized for life. Somehow everyone looks good in a long coat. Don't even give me the idea that the grave is Marco's. Too many sad thoughts.

Lanterns are definitely the upgrade! ;) NO KIDDING -- the "king titan" is sooooo gross; those poor kids are scarred for life, most definitely. Maybe they can focus on Eren to help ease their trauma. @_@ And yeah, the long coat is a FIT for sure -- but yeah, we haven't been reminded of Marco's pain this season, yet, so why not bring him up in another flashback? T___T
