Ooohhhh, we're starting a Sherlock-centered (supposedly) story AND meeting Dr. Watson?! And Mrs. Hudson?! YES, PLEASE! Sherlock is such a scene-stealer and I am absolutely falling in LOVE with this show's iteration of the famous "Consulting Detective." Show, you're not subtle. ;)

NOTE: To keep my bandwidth under control (hopefully) on these host sites, I'll be rotating every few episodes back and forth between Breach and Streamable with Moriarty and Yona. I hope that is okay!

2021-11-21 20:31:26 FYI, Watson's VA is Yuuki Ono who has voiced Kuga Eishin from TBNF OVA - Stay Gold. He has also voiced characters is Diamond No Ace and Kuroko no Basket, as well as many more. Yeah, Sherlock is Chaotic but gotta love him. Hmm, we seems to like out chaotic detectives - Sherlock & WWX. LOL!

A Study in S... Scarlet or Sherlock? Because this story is referencing a Study in Scarlet, but also it focuses more on Sherlock than the actual mystery, since William in more interested in how Sherlock will deal with it. He's studying Sherlock. I like to believe that Sherlock spent his rent money on his Noahtic ticket. For absolutely no reason. He had no reason to be there. HUDDIE IS HERE!!! I always call her Mrs Huddson in every other version of Holmes stories, but here I always call her Huddie. She's an absolute gem and I wish we got more of her, with her being younger and not taking any of Sherlock's shit and caring about her financial support idiot. And this version of Watson is also one of my favourites. He's a very good balance for our Sherlock. William putting together this case to test Sherlock has the same energy as a teenage girl looking up her and her crush's star sign compatability. And I can imagine the rest of the Crime Crew judging him in the background. William's plan for this case will make more sense next episode. He's not just doing this for the hell of it.

The truck

It's my favourite version of Sherlock, and well... the only version that I really know, lol. I wasn't really into any detective stuff. And about loving both sides, it was very hard when I was wondering about who to cheer for. But then I got the revelation that if idk who to cheer for, then cheer for the one whose ideals I agree more with. AKA The law's side. And also, the more we go with this story the more and more I fall in love with Sherly, so... ofc imma side with my husbando. (⺣◡⺣)♡* (just too bad that sherly is destined with William and I'll never have a change) also, I really love listening to your theories about how the murder might have happened. amazing discussion as always!! ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡

Peach

I love this version of Sherlock too, I've always loved Sherlock but this version definitely takes the cake! He's so witty and has a weird charm to him but on the opposite side, this version of Moriarty throws me through a loop but he's also still on brand with how Moriarty is supposed to be. The BBC Sherlock's Moriarty has always been my favorite, I love villains that stick out and steal the show but with this Moriarty it's different, he's not a crazy villain he just has different ideals and morals and wants to save the country from it's high class society. Can't wait until you meet more characters, one of my favorites comes in "season 2"! I'm glad you check out lesser known anime, they're usually the best gems you can watch.

Oh cool!! I wouldn't have recognized him as Kuga, but that's so neat! And YES!! "Chaotic Detective" should be a type, haha, because WuXian and Sherlock definitely fit the bill! :)

Oooooooooh, I hadn't considered that -- for William, it IS a study in Sherlock....nice! I like it! And ooooh, that would be funny if Sherlock just spent his rent money on a boat ticket...for "funnsies." XD Poor Ms. Hudson -- aka Huddie -- I love that she's fiesty and younger, here, and having none of Sherlock's shenanigans! :) And I really like this version of Watson as well -- he fits right into the tone of the series wonderfully. And I about snorted my drink reading your description of William checking his star sign compatibility through testing Sherlock, here. That is AMAZING. YES. Hahaha! I love it! SO excited to see more of this SherLiam dynamic! :)

I REALLY love this version of Sherlock; he's great! There are other adaptations I like, but this one so far seems like a combination of all the best attributes of those versions! It's funny, because I want to root for William because he's our protagonist, but enter Sherlock the #husbandodetective and it becomes...complicated. I just want to see them interact with one another more! :) Thank you for the kind words and comment! This series is so fun so far! :)

I agree; I love Sherlock as a literary figure, but this is one of my favorite versions of him! I love the "charm" he has and how he's such a good charismatic foil for our stern and serious Moriarty. :) I agree; BBC's Moriarty is just divine and a show stealer, but this Moriarty is more grounded and I appreciate that, especially with out caricature-esque the villains can get in the show. Oooh, I'm excited to see more characters in Season 2, as well! And YES! I can see why some of the popular shows are popular, but you all have suggested some REALLY fun shows to watch so far, so I appreciate it! :)

It's hard to decide who to root for so I just thought about who's side me favourite characters are and I have to say it is the Moriarty gang. XD I don't agree with the way they handle things but they're just so interesting. I actually have no idea how the original Sherlock is so it really is interesting so hear your thoughts on the different versions of him. I love Ms.Hudson, she has my heart. About Sherlock sneaking away in the bar. In the manga he gave one of the guys, that sat there, a note and says that it was from Hudson so the guy comes over and sexually assaults her and Watson starts fighting with him till Sherlock comes back and helps the situation. Sherlock later said he did that so that Watson could prove that he is a fitting flatmate. This was something that I really didn't like about him. Made him definitely more unsympathetic for me. It IS hard to root for either Moriarty or Sherlock -- I feel like the kid that says he "just wants both teams to have fun" with these two groups! :) This Sherlock isn't a "total" departure from other versions of the character I've seen, but I definitely LOVE this version so far! Oooohhhh, now see, that's kind of awful, so I'm glad that we don't see that in the anime! Hmm....that's rather unsympathetic, indeed. :/ At least the anime is painting Sherlock so far in a better light. Thank you for the kind words and comment and have a wonderful day, too!
