*Headphone Warning*

This is the first time watching this series where I truly felt scared for our protagonists...Fyodor is NOT to be trifled with and with his planning on par with Dazai, the ADA and Port Mafia have their work cut out for them...if they're all still standing to even stop him by the end of this.

The Cannibalism Arc is starting out on an intense foot, and I'm not sure where it's going, but I'm honestly nervous for our protagonists!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

This is why, imo every season gets better and better. The way everything relates, and how this anime is not afraid to get dark, specially with kids, just give the plot that extra something (as painful as it is). The similarities between Oda and Kunikida and their resolution and ideals (and the way they are teared apart) is just.. so well done, idk how to explain it haha. Also, although I love Yoshimasa Hosoya (Kunikida's VA), Jun'ichi Suwabe's scream in season 2 is just... heart-ripping. One of the most expressive and painful screams I ever heard. But Kunikida's scream also creates very strong emotions due the circumstances. He was already feeling like shit by shooting at the girl to save Atsushi. Idk if it was on purpose but the scene where Kunikida is trying to convince the little girl, if you see the wall behind them, there is the shape of a cross, I like too see it as the way Fyodor wants to mess with his mind and "crucified" Kunikida's resolution to protect the kids. He knows how Kunikida is willing to risk his life to save them, information he got from the OVA bomber (idk if that's the correct word haha). Anyways, such good episode and many things I could talk about but I don't want to bore you haha. Can't wait for the next episodes and your reactions and discussion!

Sorry but... it gets worse Fukuzawa: Kids, don't fight the mafia ADA: How 'bout we do ~anyway~? Honestly, I felt the fake gifted bit coming on my first watch through because it just felt too easy, especially for a two parter in an arc that brings us through to the end of the season. The death of the girl was not expected, but I also didn't Fyodor would go that far. He's the one who told Shibusawa about Atsushi which led to the experiments on him at the orphanage. I do not underestimate Fyodor at any point because of that. Honestly was giving my screen a side eye during the talk of your Mori research because I was scared you'd find minor manga/season 4 (fingers crossed the part gets animated) spoilers, character wise. But all was well. And the titular dancing girl in the story is named Elise.

I do appreciate this anime isn't afraid to get dark -- I certainly wasn't expecting that girl to just BLOW UP and Kunikida being able to do nothing, but I suppose the OVA foreshadowed this, eh? Suwabe's scream in season 2 is ICONIC and I don't think can ever be topped, but I felt so bad for Kunikida -- Hosoya does a great job playing rattled characters, doesn't he?? Yeah, it all set up for this episode -- I saw the shape of a cross, there, too! That's a great interpretation of it! Hmmm, yes, this is a great episode and y'all won't bore me talking about this show, haha!! :D Thank you so much for the kind words and comment!

Oooohhhhhh *Season 4 Hype Intensifies* I'm SO excited for more content in season 4...bwhahahaha! I'm glad I wasn't spoiled! And that's GREAT that the girl is named Elise, of course. Ahhh, I did NOT expect him not to be the gifted, so that blew me away, as did thedeath of the girl. Fyodor WILL go that far...not about it. That's true with Dead Apple, though...we should have seen his cruelty coming. And Seriously, Fukuzawa's all, "Am I a joke to you?!" This episode! Hahaha...ugh...was not prepared for this episode...sooo curious how the rest is going to go!

Why does Kunikida always have to watch people/kids die in front of him? This guy can't get any peace. And Hosoyan's screaming voice, this man will never not make me emotional with his voice. One of the best roles that gave me goosebumps from his crying voice was Sekizan from All Out, which I highly recommend, it's a pretty underrated sports anime. His voice is just amazing when it comes to emotional moments. Fyodor just gets more terrifying every episode. Atsushi catching the bullet with his mouth was amazing. I'm a sucker for organizations being loyal to their boss, so it warmed my heart to see everyone so eager to protect them. I was afraid Tanizaki was going to die. He was fricking badass this episode. I think Fyodor needed Katsura for information on Kunikida but why would he still need him now? It doesn't make sense that he still holds him hostage. I'm really excited for season 4, I luckily haven't seen much spoiler and have no Idea what's going to happen. I only know that people say it's going to be amazing. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Ooohhh, I'm going to have to put "All Out" down for sports anime, especially with Hosoya as one of the voice actors; he's one of my favorite! Yes, he just NAILS emotional delivery; I felt so bad for him in this episode! Fyodor is just downright scary because you can't get a read on him but you also know what he's about...it's chilling. And Atsushi was great in this episode! I was scared for Tanizaki, for sure, and yeah, why is he still keeping Katsura around? Curious. Maybe he just wants an audience as his plan goes down? @_@ And that's exciting about season 4 -- yessss, I have no clue what's going down in season 4 but I'm SO glad we're getting a 4th season! Thank you for the kind words and have a great day!

Mori is one of the most interesting characters for me. And now that you’ve given us his IRL story, I think he’s one of the most interesting authors. I’ve heard that Elise comes from the Dancing Girl story, so I’m not sure why the ability is named after Vitas Sexualis. Though “Dancing Girl” would sound like a horrible ability name 😆. I do think you might get minor spoilers about Mori’s backstory in the comments now that you’ve looked him up though… Callbacks to the Kunikida OVA yes. That was actually in the middle of the side stories in the manga. The order got rearranged a bit, idk why. But Poor Kunikida. Didn’t work out this time. Fyodor is brutal. And when the girl blows herself up and it cuts to him saying “blessings for the children” 😒. I’m wondering if he’s one of these psychopaths that thinks the greatest blessing for anyone is death. I really can’t stand the dude. Good episode overall. I think the next one is my favorite in this season though. Or at least in this arc for a certain scene. I’m sure you’ve watched it by now. Was late to watch this reaction. Looking forward to the next. 😁

You're never too late for the comments! :D Mori is SO interesting and after researching him, and finding that out about his daughter, I'm so hyped for his character in the rest of the series -- yeah, I think you're spot on the reasoning for why his ability is named after that...plus, it was his most edgy work, so seems fitting! And Kunikida callbacks, indeed! I feel so bad for him in this...Fyodor is indeed a brutal psychopath it looks like...and yeah...he's extremely hard to read and OH! Next episode will be a good one! :D I can't wait for Sunday; thanks for the kind words and comment!
