 Helloooooooo, Colonel! We are FINALLY introduced to Fred and Colonel Moran, the latter I may well be swooning over the rest of this series. This has been my favorite episode so far, but not only because of Moran, but for the elaborate web of revenge and the societal themes explored throughout this stand alone story.   

Moriarty's "gang" is all assembled...what a perfect time for Sherlock to show up, right? I'm sure I'll have to wait a little while longer for him, though...

Colonel Sebastian Moran and Fred Porlock have joined the party! Both of these characters are canon to the Sherlock universe, and do work for Moriarty in the books. This series will bring in lesser known Sherlock characters, and Fred is one of them. Moran, as you noticed through out the episode only really uses one hand, and has his other covered by a glove all the time. That's because the gloved one is a prosthetic, he lost his hand in India. He was a soldier after all. And he's a hell of a good shot. Poor Frida. She was only 18... Fred is a favourite of mine. Sneaky little man.

Kuroo daddy is finally here! Because it wasn't enough to have him being freaking hot, he also had to be a "convenient playboy", tall, have a six-pack and a *sniper* haha just another husbando added to the list. Btw, just a question, it's totally fine if for any reason it's not possible. But for some reason, your videos in Streamable upload with better quality than in Breach, making it a little hard to read sometimes, but as I said, no problem if it can't be switched. I love how in this episode there is no "client", but they are just doing what they really believe in, all of them, even Moran and Fred, otherwise why would they be part of the James Moriarty squad :P Also, the fact that they respect that this is settled in 19th century England, where only aristocratic men were allowed to go to the university, and sleep in shared dorms, this show is just *chef's kiss*. And a final clarification, this show is only one season long, divided in 2 parts, just like AOT season 3 (and 4) and 2 OVAs were announced to be released in 2022. Can't wait for the next episode! (and Yona and Hak tomorrow). Have a nice day!

I'm so excited to see these minor characters from the books brought in -- Fred and Moran are definitely welcome additions -- and I was WONDERING if the hand was a prosthetic that had the glove on all the time. Poor Frida, indeed, and Fred is such a sneak, but I really like his character already!

Moran is just checking off a LOT of husbando boxes, too, eh! :P I'm all on board! I like to think that Lucian is an involuntary client -- he didn't really ask Moriarty and the others to help him, but they clearly sensed he was in distress. ;) That's a neat fact about Victorian dorms and the way the season is structured! Thank you for that! And thanks for the suggestion about Breach! I was trying to scatter the shows out a little -- to avoid the Vimeo debacle where they say I'm using too much bandwidth. :/ I may try to alternate with Streamable and Breach if it's getting hard to read, though! Thank you for letting me know!

That pitchy sort of screech can only belong to the infamous Chuuya himself >:3 And fun fact about myself, this whole series had been sitting on my to-be-watched list for a hot while. I figured I'd watch it with you week by week but no, by the time I caught up with last week's update I needed more so I ended up finishing the first cour?? No spoilers for you but I'll say if this was your favorite so far, woooo boyyyy you're gonna get some new favorites down the line. I'll look forward to the gradually longer discussions.

I think if you've seen enough of my reactions...I definitely do. @_@ Yikes. And I can't believe I didn't recognize Chuuya/Jean's voice, but I wasn't expecting his VA to be a villain like that! I like Chuuya and Jean so much, I couldn't imagine his VA playing that type of character. And oooooooooohhhhhhhh, I'm SOOO excited for the episodes to come! :D :D I've wanted to watch this series for a while, too, so I'm happy to finally be getting to it!

I still can't believe Satoshi Hino not only voiced Moran but also Nao. Fred is voiced by Uemura Yuuto who voiced Atsushi in bsd and Jouji in Kazetsuyo. Dudley Bale is voiced by Kishow who voiced Chuuya in bsd and Jean in AoT. Tate is voiced by Yuuki Shin who voiced Yuki in given and Natsuo in my hero academia and I completely forgot to answer on your comment from last week. I meant that Lucien is voiced by Ootsuka Takeo who voiced Kakeru. I'm a sucker for 'in another life' troupes so I got really invested in the story of Frieda and Lucien. It was really sad to see how much they loved eachother and how it turned out. I think Tate is just a really good friend of Lucien but I headcanon it as an unrequited love because why not. XD I loved that they showed us that not all of nobility are bad people. Like it is with everything, in any group there are always bad and good people. Same with nobility. They had me with Fred from the opening but seeing him in action fully convinced me. I like that they animated Fred costumed as Frieda still like him. They didn't changed his body type for it. "Is Moran a playboy or is it that he just have to get up to her room." Well both. XD Wish you a wonderful day!!

The fact that Hino voices Moran and Daichi makes sense, but throw NAO in there? Natsuya...I see why you're still attached to this bespectacled man. ;) I love the voice cast in this! I can't believe I didn't connect the dots that it was Kishow as Bale, but I don't like seeing the voice of Chuuya and Jean applied to a slimy villain, haha! I agree; I really wish Lucian and Frida could have been together...I kind of view Tate's feelings for Lucian as unrequited love as well, so there's another layer added. And YES, seeing actual "good nobles" was refreshing -- Fred is so fun, too, already! I like that we have an "actor" in the crew now. And ol' Moran...multitasking at its finest, right?
