Season three of the donghua is sadly over, but that means I'm diving back into MXTX's famous novel, as well as the audio drama and manhua, to see what's changed in adaptation! It should be a lot of fun!

The technique Lan Yi invented is definitely something you've already encountered in this show. I believe they do name it explicitly later. Also in the Untamed huhuhu waiting for that! Ohh that scene at the Chang residence. Wei Ying is so badass there in the book! Audiodrama gave him only one flute solo, but still, goood scene. Also, he's really good at predicting normal people's reactions, their mindset, and never gets angry or disappointed that he himself or someone else are misunderstood or portrayed as villains. The ultimate cliffhanger ahaha. Drunk Wangji is still the most adorable thing in the whole world. He probably has a whole bouquet of reasons to try drinking with Wuxian. Remember, he had already tried at this point, he knows he is very open and vulnerable when drunk. And still he trusts Wuxian enough to do it with him. Even our resident gremlin realises he must be very careful with drunk Wangji and shield him from the world. While playing around with him himself, of course.

After watching the first few episodes of the Untamed...ooooohhh...I'm excited now! :) Wei Ying is just badass in all adaptations, right? Especially the book and donghua so far; and drunk Wangji....PRECIOUS. I love your observation, though, that WuXian is careful with Wangji while drunk and Wangji - so far- is very trustworthy of WuXian being able to be with him while in that state. Fufufufufu...we shall see for the next episode, though, right? :)
