Y'all, first things first: Hak is 100% Husbando Certified. I love him.

Soo Won is interesting -- there's something up with his character, I feel so bad for Min Soo, and I'm SO ready to see what is in store for Yona, and to meet the other dragon boyyyys!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

I love how much you're enjoying this show so far! When I first watched this I was pleasantly amazed at the fight scene and how good it was, the choreography and animation is on par with most any shounen duel I've seen, and even better than some! They didn't have to go that far but the added effort in the clean action animation and not being afraid to show blood and soldiers dying, plus the sound direction is what elevates this show to being one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing what you make of the political situation in Kouka as we continue on because you're right about the unreliable narrator being at play. So far we've been seeing things from mostly Yona's perspective, and Hak's to a lesser degree, but as was pointed out they've been sheltered in the castle all this time, surrounded by others who are either nobles or palace servants. And I definitely feel the Mulan vibes from Yona there haha, which is great because that was one of my favorite movies as a child. Can't wait for next week!

Thank you so much for the kind words -- YES, I haven't watched a fantasy/romance Shojo like this in SO long and I am loving it! The fight scene was GREAT! I agree with all of your points -- it didn't have to go that hard, but it did, and right off the bat. It has me excited for more action scenes to come in this series. And yesssss, we've gotten such a skewed perspective; I'm excited to see how others they encounter (Hak and Yona) add to that view of things in this show so far -- and yes! Total Mulan vibes, but I loved that movie as a kid, so I'm happy with it! Cheers to next week! :D

I know this is super random but I have a reaction request. I keep forgetting to request it so I'm doing it know lol. The show is called Tokyo Revengers. The first season just ended not to long ago with 24 episodes and I wanted to see how good this show was before requesting since I had never heard of the manga prior. All that I can say is wow! It isn't what I expected It to be it kinda reminds me of Erased. It's different then anything I've seen react to and I would love to see you watch it one day. Its definitely a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat! Plus there's lots of misunderstood character's that I would love to hear your opinion on. That's it sorry for paragraph.

Hey! I'm always up for a reaction request! I actually am planning on having both Erased and Tokyo Revengers on the polls to replace Bungo Stray Dogs and Attack on Titan when we get to them! :) So that's exciting to hear that it's a good series! I'm excited! :D Thanks for the recommendation!! And I'm an English teacher -- I'll never turn down a paragraph, hahaha!

I always forget that banana fish is a shojo. XD This is probably the hardest show for me to not say too much. I like that they show us that Soo-won doesn't necessarily wants to kill Hak and Yona but at this point he doesn't really have much of a choice. It adds more depth to our villian. The fight between Soo-won and Hak hurts to see. Two former best friends fighting against eachother is too much for me. Poor Yona, that must have been so traumatizing. Also her guilt of never being able to thank her father. I feel really bad for Hak too since he obviously also lost people he cared about this night. Min-soo sacrificing himself to safe Yona. Argh my heart. I'm really excited to hear your thoughts about the rest of the show. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Right?! Banana Fish is a genre-changer, for sure! And oooooh, I'm excited that there will be more under the surface with this show -- how exciting!! :D :D Yes, seeing the friendship between these two shown falling apart and all three parties seem to be suffering in some way....it's so sad! And Min-Soo!!! Argh, I really didn't think they'd kill him off! I'm really excited to see where this show takes Hak and Yona (and what will happen with Soo Won) -- and to meet our other dragons! :P Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!
