Oh ho ho, so this show spends an entire episode building up our antagonist of the season, and OH. What an antagonist he is! I am so fascinated by this super-intelligent, cold, and calculating villain this show has given us...but I'm worried for our Port Mafia and Agency, now! 

 Such a cool stand alone episode to build up the stakes of this season -- I'm SO ready to see more of him in action...but also so nervous for it!  

Oh, and I talk about the light novel, "Fifteen," in this! ^^

Oh yeah Fyodor is a crazy mastermind, a real match for Dazai. Honestly, it becomes a little frustrating after some time in manga, watching those two trying to overcome each other with overpowered mind games. Also, that's not Ango at the OP ;) I like that character even more than Ango though!

Hahaha, I did't realize it wasn't Ango until I saw episode 5 -- now it's hilarious that I thought it was him! But ooooh, interesting! I know I'll want to continue the manga after this series is done, so I'm excited to get into Fyodor! :D

My reaction to Fyodor and his genius when he showed up was like “We already have one Dazai, that’s enough! We don’t need you, please go away!” Lol. I don’t know if it’s just me, but he gets under my skin. There are also plenty of people who seem to like him though. I’ll be interested to see what you think of him this season. Maybe not liking him makes him a better villain 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not sure if you noticed this or not, but the chapter from Arahabaki’s perspective in the LN was narrated by Chuuya in the anime because those were his memories.

RIGHT?! I mean, I've waited to get a villain that was on "Dazai's" level and was truly villainous in this series -- because even though Mori's probably been the closest to Dazai's level, at the end of the day, he's not going to raze the city because he needs it to survive for the PM to keep going. And Fitzgerald was an insanely FUN villain, but I never felt him be....sinister. Fyodor just oozes creepy malice, and I'm scared for our protagonists! @_@

The guy in the Opening is not Ango. Ace is voiced by Ono Daisuke who also voiced Erwin from AoT. And the boy is voiced by Irino Miyu who voiced Sugawara from Haikyuu. I'm actually sad about him. I really liked his character. I forgot how amazing this episode is. This was a wonderful introduction for the villian. I really like Ace's character design. It looks so cool. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Yessss, hahahha, I do realize that in Episode 5, and will comment on that; I feel so silly thinking it was him, now! :P And OOOH, it's interesting that Ono Daisuke voices Erwin, because so far I've seen him voice Ace and Kinjou from Free! And Kinjou and Ace seem like similar, kind of slimy, arrogant characters...and then we have Erwin. @_@ Interesting... I did feel bad for the boy Miyu voiced; I wish his character had stuck around longer...but yeah, all in the name of introducing a very intriguing villain! Ace's character design was great, too, with that asymmetrical hair, haha! Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!
