Maki proves to be quite the manipulator, as he's able to bring the team out of a funk and figure out pairings that prove quite effective for the team...all while still holding back (though Toma catches on).

But behind the scenes, their sponsor is setting them up for a practice game with the current champions (whom he has a past with), the student council president is ruthless, and of course...sometimes the worst can rear its head when you least expect it...

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

End credit scenes, UGH! Poor Maki, he is SO traumatized by his father. Sometimes it takes an outside to truly see good and bad of a team. Again, Maki's is very in tune with people (survival instinct) and observed his teams and their pairs. He also took the time to watch the girls pairs and see what was working for them. Honestly, just have a tough time getting past hearing Reki come out of Toma's mouth. LOL! Don't know if you noticed but the dancing Pairs in the ED are the newly formed pairs for the team.

I really feel for Maki; his father is the WORST. T_T And it's sad because Maki's instinctual reflex to "watch" people ends up being what helps the team as he wants to re-do the pairs. It's at least interesting to see a quality born from a bad situation be used positively. HA! Toma's voice hasn't distracted me, but having watched Episode 5 last night (UGH), it's hard for me to not notice Haiji in the one boy's voice. :) And I didn't realize that! I noticed something was "different" but couldn't place it -- thank you! I'll have to make note of that!

I said it already with the normal movements but the animation feels so realistic. It's really pleasant to watch it. Since it's 5 years ago it feels like the incident could really be from the time Ryoma was there. If they even mean something that happened in/with the club. I like Maki and Mitsue as friends. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it feels like Maki tries to get her more out of her shell. Something that Mitsue definitely needs. When Maki said he forgot something I just knew something bad is gonna happen. Why else would the show make him go alone? Wish you a wonderful day!!

It really is satisfying to see the flow of them playing -- the animation works really well, here. And yessss, I'm definitely getting the vibe that the "incident" has something to do with Ryoma, and maybe that's why Ryoma is okay with the club disbanding? Interesting....and Maki and Mitsue is a good combo -- I totally agree that Maki is trying to get her to come out of her shell! :) Mitsue seems to have resigned to herself that she can't have friends that are "real," and I feel Maki might be her first "real" friend. And yesssss, whenever Maki is alone, my blood pressure goes up three measures, haha! Put a tracking device on this boy! Thank you for the kind words and I hope you have a good day, too!
