Actually, confirmed by the author- wanji fell in love with wuxian at first sight- so it just makes this whole journey all that much more cuter knowing that he’s been in love with him since they were young. As for wuxian, it’s up to the reader! (: Also I think it’s okay to go up to chapter 27 because it’s pretty much exactly where season 2 left off.

As usual, I love your reaction so much! The ant scene was actually one of the extras of the audio drama S1. It's short but hilarious! It's difficult to find a complete list of audio drama extras on YouTube, but Suibian subs did a really wonderful job compiling them together and translating them. That. Gorgeous. Cover art. Magnolia flowers and library window (I can't believe they've added and incense burner on this one. I mean, it's normal to have incenses burning for concentration purposes BUT ISN'T THAT A NOD TO THE EXTRA I'M SERIOUSLY DYING HERE). In audiodrama we get Shuangjie (Twin heroes) rhetoric pretty early, hah. Well, it can fit there I think, even if it should have been a play on Twin Jades title which Wei Ying probably only learned right before coming to Gusu. Ahh all those new and strange urges Wei Ying awakens in Lan Zhan! Hand holding, loquats, that laugh, that leg over the roof that he told Wei Ying to take back, twice! I still believe Lan Zhan has been punishing himself for those unruly thoughts as well when he kneeled next to him (and probably experienced some degree of sexual awakening over those cries and moans). There is so many good fanart of Lan Zhan covertly looking when Wei Ying is having fun with his friends... By the way, are you going to listen to audio extras when the whole audiodrama is done? Those little tidbits would fit in nicely between episodes as well! Like the dog one or the rabbits one. Also, it looks like Wei Ying punched Jin Zixuan just a second before Jiang Cheng could do that, in donghua as well. Of course it was his wish too, but still. Had Jiang Cheng done that... nope, better me than him! As always. Yes, Wei Ying, yes. You are going down the mountain to elope. After all, lying is forbidden in Cloud Recesses! And Wangji's gaydar has developed massively on all those rabbits, why do you think he won't detect you! There are also quite a few good texts and comics that explore the whole notion of "Is Lan Zhan gay or just Wei Ying-sexual?". Like, Wei Ying jokingly asking, would you love me if I came back as a woman? Or as an old creaky man? Or a donkey? Or a worm? I'm also thinking Lan Zhan is exclusively gay but... Wei Ying is Wei Ying. Love would still be there. I think it's better to read until the end of 2nd season - Nie saber chambers and all that. After they get the second body part, yes, it's totally spoilery and it's better to experience all at once.

Oh my GOSH! This makes it all 100% better! He's been in love with him since day one...**sighs** And WuXian...oh, WuXian...our sweet chaotic gremlin never stood a chance! And thank you for the information! That should work out PERFECT with the 3rd season coming out! :3

Thank you so much for the kind words, and the link!! I definitely want to do the audio extras; I might wait and do all of them in one once I'm through with Season One (the third donghua season) so I can keep it all in order, but that's so exciting! :) I appreciate it!

Thank you for the comment! I definitely want to listen to the audio extras -- they may have to be their own videos, ahaha! But ooohhh, that is a good question: Is Wangji gay or just WeiYing-Sexual....or maybe he's Demisexual and WuXian is the only one he wants? I could see THAT. As for WuXian....hmmm...I think WuXian is WuXian, too, haha! He definitely is oblivious to his own feelings towards Wangji, which is hilarious because Wangji seems acutely aware of his feeling in contrast. I need to look some of this fan art up! :3 I agree, too, Cheng was totally going to punch ZiXuan, but WuXian beat him to the point. And you'd think WuXian would pick up on all the signs that Wangji has changed and is in love with him, buttttt.... XD I guess we shall see as we get closer to season 3 -- I'm SO excited!!
