Well, it's here -- everything wraps up this episode! And WHAT A RIDE it is! I'm a little dazed we're already here, if I'm honest! The one saving grace in all this is knowing that I've still got 6 volumes of the manga to read and gather notes on, to see what changes from our anime adaptation!

I really enjoyed this series, (Nezumi and Shion for the WIN) but I'll be honest -- the ending is conflicting for me; I'm curious to know your thoughts! Next week, I review the manga and announce details on the livestream!

While watching a thunderstorm started. That's timing. XD I actually would be really interested to see No.6 with a tragic ending. As happy as I am that Shion survived at the end, I don't like this whole singing and bringing him back to life situation. A lot of things are surreal in the show but this just feels not so fitting. Karan was like "I will have my son back, so I don't need you anymore." XD Yeah, we needed a lot more conversations at the end. Especially since Nezumi and Shion just had a fight. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I honestly thought that this series was going to go the tragic route -- I would have cried, to be honest, because we've grown so close to these characters! And yes, while Nezumi and Shion survive, I'm not a total fan of the "resurrection" -- Luckily, I have read enough of the manga to know that the ending IS handled very differently, so I can't wait to talk about that! But yes, there are too many questions that go with that moment of Shion coming back to make it totally match up with the rest of the story's elements. And Karan peacing out and ditching that little girl? XD Luckily, that's different in the manga too. There's honestly a LOT of differences in terms of how the manga handles the content of Episodes 10 and 11, but they're for the better in my opinion, especially with the talks between Shion and Nezumi; I can't wait to go over it.
