I thought that nothing could top that first episode, but this season is already trucking along with SO MUCH happening! Exposition, a new (and terrifying) titan, character development, MORE mysteries being set up -- this show is sucking me in, for sure! And we already have time skips happening! @_@

"what the hell?" and "why?" are very common questions while watching aot haha. but don't worry, all your questions shall be answered, eventually. it just might take a while :D Yeah, about the important key and the mysterious basement... haha. It really is hard to comment without accidentally spoiling anything. I'm just gonna say, you really have to pay attention while watching this show (which you already do, so I'm sure you'll have fun with all the symbols, secret messages, and foreshadowing) :) Your initial feeling about what type of roles our main trio have and what their character traits are, is actually pretty spot on. Can't wait till you meet the other characters. I'm very interested in what your opinion about them is going to be and who will be your favorite or favorites. :D And about Levi, he'll show himself eventually. :D I'm sure someone already told you, but when you get to the end of season 1 and before you start season 2, watch the OVA 'No Regrets' which depicts Levi's past. If you decide to watch the other OVAs as well, I would recommend watching 'No Regrets' as the last one (it's a two-episode OVA).

AoT was my anime to get back into anime after few years break . And I was just astonished by the intensity and just brutality of this show. And while nowadays anime that looks really great visually arent as rare, back then it was , at least for me . So it was just a feast for my eyes. hahah. And im not into plot oriented media , especially anime , I gravitate towards character driven drama and character studies . But AoT is one of few anime that plot is so engaging that I got hooked really easy . As for Eren, I think theres a good blend of classical deterministic shounen protagonist with darker bloodlust and intesity that we dont usually find in shounen. Just his expression when hes saying he gonna kill all the titans , is just really good. So anyone can correct me if I am wrong but thats what I know. The studio change . Wit Studio was burning out and crunching really really hard, it took a toll on a lot of artist and animators due to unreasonable deadlines and of course fantastic animation at display. For season 4 , they refused to make it because the deadlines that were set by manga publisher were even more unreasonable and all of the studios refused to animate last season , except for MAPPA . I think they were given 18 months? Maybe less . Also Wit was doing another anime , Vinland Saga , so they did not want to split their animators and staff to multiple intensive projects I assume .

This anime has so much foreshadowing. They can literally show an ant crossing the street and it will foreshadow something big 50 episodes ahead haha so I´m very curious to see your further reaction and theories since you pay a lot of attention to detail and you´re amazing at remembering things.

Yes! I'm already amazed with the production of this series -- that's really sad about WIT not being able to continue into season 4, but I mean....18 months to produce a season? Man....and from what I've seen of MAPPA, they do good with a series, so I'm sure it's fine. Vinland Saga is one I'd eventually want to see as well! Ooooh, yessss, Eren's expression at the end is haunting and gives me chills. Yeah, the intensity of this show and its characters definitely sets it apart from other Shonen already that I've seen. I'm usually all about character-driven stories as well, but when there's a great plot that's engaging, mysterious, AND has good characters, I'm all in! :)Thank you for the comment!!

Ha! Yes, I have a feeling I'm going to be saying those phrases a lot with this show! It's good to know that at least the show will give answers....eventually. :P And ahhh, that basement. Already so mysterious! I'm going to have to keep my eyes open in this show, that's for sure! @.@ I'm so excited to see the other characters appear and interact with this show, especially Levi! :D Yes! Ahhh, I'll definitely have to -- as we get close to the end of the season one -- get a list of viewing order for the OVAs and other seasons. I'm so excited, though! Thank you for the comment!

AHHHH i can't express enough how excited I am for you to experience this series! If it wasn't for this anime right here I'm not sure I would have gotten into anime at all! Honestly after finishing aot there is just no anime I have come across yet that tops it for me! xD Just in the first episode alone there is indeed so much symbolism, connections and theories you can began making..everything will began to connect the further you venture into this series! Honestly Eren is such a great character, his determination and drive is pretty consistent. Mikasa is the sister we all need, she's very veryyy protective of Eren but it truly comes from a good place in her heart because eren really is a savage LOL. And Armin, the precious bookworm! There’s a lot of characters to love in attack on titan and im excited to find out who your favorite is and your favorite titan! c: Get ready for a wild ride…..!!

Ahhh, you've definitely got me excited for this show! I'm already thinking about how I felt about these first few episodes and how much will change between now and the last season; it has me very hyped! I already get the vibes you're talking about from the three main characters and I'm so excited to meet the others and talk about which I like and so forth as the season goes on! WITs animation is awesome but I don't like that they made the older Mikasa a lot more feminine than she actually is in the manga. It's just something little but it somehow bothers me. Hannes is a character I really like when it comes to the things he says. It may hurt but they're the truth. "Why?" is probably the most common thing to say while watching AoT. XD There are so many foreshadowing in this show it's amazing. I feel like everything I want to say could be a spoiler when I'm not careful enough. XD Wish you a wonderful day!!
