**Headphone Users...You Know the Drill!**

This season finale was everything I wanted and all the things I didn't know I needed! It's so bittersweet to end this series (hopefully, just for now), but this final episode was SO FABULOUS! The bonds, the final "S" race, the over-the-top animation and extra-ness of this episode (and that epilogue?!) was just wonderful! Now...where's Season Two?!

I really hope that Sk8 will get a second season because this whole show was something that I didn't know I needed. At first, I was like "skating show? yeah, right, I'm sure it's just gonna be some cheesy, no plot, no depth character show" but boy was I wrong. Now it's honestly one of my favorite shows. There's just something special about Sk8 The Infinity. :) (I'm sure it's the 'canon-typical pet play' tag on ao3 that tadai have going on for each other lol) Oh and by the way, not sure whether you have already seen it, but if not, watch 'Blind Reaction Compilation: Sk8 the Infinity' on youtube by Danny Motta. Trust me, you won't regret it. :D

Ooooh, thank you for the video recommendation! I will definitely have to check that out! :D Now that I'm done with the show, I can watch ALL THE THINGS! Haha! I honestly did NOT expect to latch onto this show like I have, but from episode 1, it drew me in -- I thought the same, that it was going to be a cheesy fluff show, but noooooo...here we are having half-hour discussions post-episode about it! And, the power of Renga, Matchablossom, and DEFINITELY TadAi (yes, please) has fueled this fandom, and I'm all here for it! :3 Can't wait to talk more with y'all about this show!

I do hope we get a second season bc my only complain is that I wanted more of Cherry, Joe & Adam’s backstory, Miya development and a more conclusive ending on the Diet investigation. Plus, with more episodes maybe they could have given us Langa losing at least a couple of races before he became a god 😂 However, I think they did perfectly with the time they had. We NEED SEASON 2! If Free did it, this can too!!!

I went absolutely feral for this reaction not even going to lie. It had absolutely everything I was looking for in it. I agree we definitely need the machablossom backstory (with Cherry's ADAM crush angst??). The gang in Canada?? Hand it over! The skating wedding for Tadaai (and a swift exit of Adam's aunts?🤺) Well if they dont write it perhaps I will at this point 💪🏽🤐 👀

This show was absolutely wonderful, and there's so much that's still left unsaid: Joe and Cherry's relationship, Adam's apparent marriage?! (until Tadashi hides the body), Shadow's heartbreak, and WHAT WERE REKI AND LANGA GOING TO DO AFTER FINALS?! I need answers, Sk8! YES! If Free can get three seasons and multiple movies, what is stopping you, Sk8 the Infinity!?

Oh, these last two episodes were GOLDEN! Such a good way to end the finale -- and all those scenarios? I'm good with ANY of them! We didn't get to see the results of the Adam marriage set up -- I just need Tadashi telling the aunts to kiss it and end up with Adam in an extremely over-the-top wedding! ^^ Is that too much to ask? :D

It was really fun to rewatch it with you. To hear things from another perspective was really nice. I have a lot to say but I'm sure I will forget about some stuff. XD Now it makes so much sense why Adam made a 'funeral' out of this race. I didn't saw it like that, but that's so interesting. Adam was so extra and I'm living for it. His outfit and mask was amazing though. XD This race didn't felt like it belongs to a sports anime. XD The part where we saw Langa's father got me teared up. It was such a wonderful moment. That's something that I will miss in the dub because we won't see them talking in a different language together. The renga hug was adorable. And then the group hug. Reki teaching his sisters was just wonderful. Shadow is the punching bag in this show. Since the start he's the one who gets all the shit. I felt so bad for him. I feel like they made this to be funny but it's actually just sad. And that is how ShadowXOka started. At first it was just a joke but now I'm really shipping it. All the fanarts of them made me like it for real. XD We didn't really got a apology scene between Miya and Reki but it made me so happy to see that his old friend starts to open up to him again. Tadashi was really expresive. He looked so soft. In an Interview Utsumi said that they planned to make Tadashi bark instead of just saying yes. If that happened I could never stop laughing at it. XD I'm still a bit sad that we didn't get to see more of the person who teached Reki how to skate. I'm not even sure why I want this so much. XD I would like to see how the whole situation between Cherry/Joe/Adam changed after Adam finally got out of this hole. It obviously can't go back to normal. Too much happend. That's something that I would be really interested to see. Mostly I want more Cherry and Joe flashbacks. XD But there is so much they could do. Wish you a wonderful day!!

T_T There's so much left "unsaid" that I feel they could go into a second series with if they wanted: * Adam's marriage? OMG, if they'd made Tadashi bark in that moment, I would have lost it -- y'all will know with the Cindereki audio drama next week, that's all I'll say! * I really want to see the kid that taught Reki to skate too! That could be a cool tie in if they did a season 2 * I'm sad Miya and Reki didn't have that conversation, but Miya tearing up at the end of Episode 11 and then being with them this episode -- it's sort of understood that everything is okay between them, and that's fine by me. :3 * Shadow is a punching bag and I hate that for him! I just want him to be happy, and if Oka-sensei can do it, so be it! XD I need to look up fan art now! * RENGA SUPREMACY * I need more Matchablossom -- I could watch a whole prequel series of their high school days and starting the "S" with Adam. Neeeeed it!
