This prologue to Sannou vs. Shohoku is incredible -- both team dynamics shown, everyone bearing it on the line? The hype for this match in the early part of this volume is amazing!

But y'all -- from Sakuragi's initial dunk faux pas to the actual pre-game one, to Akagi's resolve, to our SHOHOKU BAD BOYS lining up to start the game, to Sakuragi and Miyagi working together, to Mitsui coming into his own? The fire in the start of this match...oooh, this volume is so awesome and it has me so excited about this epic match to come!

I've finally caught up to the Slam Dunk reactions YAY *insert the typical Sakuragi smiling stupidly and the thinking-he-had-another-Tensai-moment face* I JUST saw your comment on the Volume 23 Patreon post telling me that the early Slam Dunk videos are all on Vimeo and thankfully I did notice that myself thankfully around Volume 18 LOL It was honestly pretty cool to go back and se your early volume reactions and how your outlook changed on certain things and your thinking/predictions as to how things could evolve :) I'm not sure If I've laughed as much with a Manga/Anime reaction ever, like I had with the Ryonan vs Shohoku Match and the recurring intense faces of the Ryonan Coach coupled with each and EVERY one of your instant reactions to them LMAO It was pure hilarity and I almost had actual stomach pain from that whole endavour and me rewinding back to those moments. Inoue was on one with those :D I'm so excited for the Sannou match, but we're also nearing the end and I'm getting Big Gori Akagi Tears swellling up just from thinking these will end soon-ish *crosses fingers for hopefully more Inoue Manga reactions after Slam Dunk* Unfortunately I'll also not be able to continue my patreon pledge for the next like 1-2 months and will barely be able to access the Internet over that time, but I'm gonna back as soon as possible with all the slam dunk reactions, JJK videos, my hero + everything else all piled up and ready to be binged in a few months :) Still sad that I couldnt watch all of Banana Fish in time to catch your Banana Fish livestream/discussion :( I'm relatively new to your youtube/patreon, but your energy, postive and cheerful nature and thoughtful discussions in your content are such a joy and its been one of the main sources of entertainment/distraction in the last few months for me and I'm really looking forward to be back and support the patreon soon again. Also the Community that you helped build is so nice and everyone in the Run with the Wind livestream was so funny and chill and it was honestly incredibly refreshing. (The fact that you take so much time/effort to reply to so many comments on your videos/posts really reflects that and makes me always eager/happy to check out all the comments...which is a very rare thing on the internet) I'll hopefully be able to come outta my shlell more/ not be as timid in the near future and join your Discord and be more active there :) I hope you have a Great time with the rest of the Slam Dunk Volumes and everything with the Patreon/Youtube is going to continue to get better and better, cuz you definetely derserve it. Oh and one last thing, I was thinking with the Banana Fish Poll finished and SK8 winning it, that there is probably a spot open for another show to fill that one poll slot in the future SK8 Poll. I'm sure you have already a/multiple great shows pegged for that, but I just wanted to throw one lil recommendation in there If I may. "Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu" would fit like a glove thematically next to all the other series you had in the Banana Fish Poll and I could really see you/your community enjoy watching and especially discuss that marvel of a series. I came across it not long ago thaks to the SOS Bros reacting to it and it instantly became a special series to me (one of my favorite Drama series alongside March comes in like A Lion) and it deserves all the love/praise it gets :) That's all and I hope you have a great rest of your Week :)

It’s weird looking back at when I started this series to now…how things have changed! ^^ The humor of this series has been on point, but it may have peaked with Ryonan’s coach and his ever-growing-ridiculous expressions! I’m so glad you found my reactions humorous to match! XD I have been thinking of reading “Real” by Inoue – it’s a series he started, stopped, and picked back up and the subject matter looks darker, while still sticking to Basketball, so we shall see. I’m still debating it and may ask Patreon as well. ^^ But thank you so much for your support of my reactions! I completely understand and hope you’ll be safe the next couple of months! I’m sorry you missed the Banana Fish discussion, but at least the videos and reactions will all still be here to be watched. 😊 Thank you again for the kind words! When Sk8 is done (it replaced Run with the Wind), I’ll have another sports poll – I have a feel March comes in Like a Lion is going to win, but who knows) and Bungo Stray Dogs replaced Banana Fish BUT thank you for this recommendation! Oh yeah I mixed up all the previous polls in my sleepless daze, I'm a total Dou Ahou XD "Real" would be really cool right after Slam Dunk and is lndeed so interesting on many levels, especially in comparison with Slam Dunk and their differing approaches narratively/tonally. But I'm honestly looking forward to whatever you choose as one of your future Manga projects and to see what other series ideas everyone on patreon comes up with. There is just so much great stuff to choose from and my personal Backlog is filled with way too many ongoing/finished Manga gems and have no time to read any of em right now arghhhh :( Hopefully I'll be back by the time you have your end of Sk8 Livestream, as well as JJK livestream (I'm just assuming there will be livestream discussions for those, I might be totally wrong :D )

Oh, you're not a Dou Ahou -- we reserve that title specifically for Hanamichi! XD There is SO MUCH to choose from -- I feel I'm set for a while with great choices! We shall see about "Real" -- I think it would be cool to follow up Slam Dunk with one of Inoue's more modern manga, but we'll see! :D And YES! I am definitely doing a livestream for SK8 and JJK! SK8 will probably end before JJK but I'm excited for both! I hope you're back by that time and can make them! :D
