I think I got close to tears this episode. Seriously. 

Prince's breakdown at the end of his journey -- after the connection between him, Haiji, and Kakeru and all the sports anime protagonists (what a meta callback!) -- was just. DAMN. Gut-wrenching!

And then Musa's conviction, the backstory with the twins?! This race is already SO MUCH and we're only in the first three legs...y'all. I don't know if I can wait to watch episode 20.

Yes, boys wrong time for this! Couple things...in the OP the brothers paths is diverging and here we begin to hear Jota's thoughts on that. Also this part reminds me of the Miya twins, that moment when Osamu tells Atsumu that he might remain on the same path in the future. Dang wrote while listen to the end review and then you made the same comparison. LOL. The voice acting is so top tier, both expressing emotions and the effort to run. Each character has their own journey, their own reasons for running but their destination is the same. FYI, you can find videos of the Hakone on Youtube and the Live action movie for RWTW. This show and BF might break you.

2021-10-19 03:50:37 Leave it to the twins to be our troublemakers at the worst time1 >.< Haha!! That is okay about the Twins -- yes, such Miya comparisons! But mannnn, the voice acting for Prince got me this episode -- the symbolism of starting the race with Prince and then it's going to end with Haiji is next level GENIUS. Just...ugh, this show. Tracing their own journeys in this final race for each runner is suuuuch a fantastic concept -- it's crazy we've followed these boys for this whole series and now we've reached the climax where all their hard work comes to bear results! @.@ And mann...I think before the last two episodes, I'll need to watch some Hakone footage to get a feel for the ending of the race. And yeah...so the ending of Banana Fish and the ending of Run With the Wind and Episode 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen are all going to be in the set of weeks back to back. My sanity. MY SANITY will be tested. w___w
