Well, where to start😂 I almost wrote an essay on last volume, but decided not to. Just briefly wanna point out that Anzai said "the moment I think Akagi can't go on, I'm taking him off the court" to Ayako. Typical translation mistake, not understanding what's talked about. Same mistake happens at the ending. They completely misunderstood what's talked about. Anyway. As you probably already know, it's playoffs, so everyone will play everyone and top two go to nationals. We got to witness Maki here. The Emperor😂 And yeah, Sendo being like "Go" is one of my favourite panels too. Sakuragi just somehow brings out the fighting spirit in his opponents. Though Maki still flipped him over with one hand. Immense power. And then Anzai commented "being the only beginner on the team Sakuragi actually always thought how he could catch up, and what he could do." Hearing that Kogure goes "no wonder he improves so fast". Delinquent is actually trying quite hard to get better. And the Akagi flashback? First he goes "what part of us getting double scored at is "we did our best" to yall" on the train. Then we see how he's always pushing others to train harder, and they all quit saying "we just wanted to have fun, we can't get along with you and your constant pressure for more". Remember how many joined with Mitsui? 12 people. How many stayed? Kogure and Akagi. And Mitsui came back. So we see how Akagi was always alone in his drive to win and never even got a chance to face the best. Till now.

Thank you SO much for helping to understand the translation mistakes -- I REALLY appreciate it, because I realize the translation is far from perfect here. ^^ Oh, I love Sendoh, and that "GO!" Part just SENT me! Soooo wonderful! :D And Maki...man, "Emperor" indeed! He definitely earns that title! That's such a good point to bring up about Akagi -- aside from Kogure, they were alone for a long time as teammates. Yeah, Mitsui came back, which is awesome, but yeah, Akagi has been chasing his dream alone almost for most of his high school career...it definitely adds more weight to the moment and why he wants to win so bad! Thank you so much for the comment and reading along with me!
