Now that is a cliff hanger! Crazy how even with the amazing action in the big fight against the witch, and it is great and captivating, the more interesting moments of the episode are with the mother. Her friendship with the tmi teacher and her actually being present in her daughter Madoka's story and life really do stand out as she worries and protests Madoka leaving into the storm! I can't recall, but in Sailor Moon, did it start in a school environment? Were Serena's parents ever present in the show? It is nice to see the trope of a group of kids with no parents living alone and saving the world be at least somewhat broken if only by Madoka's parents! Looking forward to the final episode and I'm super excited for when you get to the movie! I refuse to believe another movie is actually releasing until it has an imminent date, it's been too long. You can be happy the wait between Rebellion and whatever they are doing next is shorter for you then it is for people who saw Rebellion around 10 years ago, the drought is real! The reactions are so enjoyable though, they definitely help.

I cannot believe Rebellion came out 10 YEARS ago -- what?! That's insanity!! I am so excited about the last episode! And yesss, that conversation with the mom was so good! About Sailor Moon -- YES, especially season 1 and 2, they were in the classroom nearly every episode - and Sailor Moon had a mom, dad, and little brother (though he was in grade school and a little snot-nosed jerk hahaha). In any case, I like how Madoka plays on that same trope but adds more stakes as she has to make a choice to help save the world or be with her family -- this series is SO GOOD!
