Y'ALL....you donghua-only folk...still around? Still tortured? Because there's NO way with an ending like that I could stay donghua-only!

The season reaches it's end, but it's only begun for me as this was SUCH a tease for the novel! I finally see the OP and ED and a special "commercial" as well -- all I can say is this episode was SOOOOO satisfying (until the end) and I can't wait to dive into the novel next week!

I did not know you read Take Off too!!! 💕 I adore Andrew and Nathan so much. I do believe it is a manhwa, as the creator is Korean. Shen Qingqiu getting nauseous from the Sword Flight after being excited about it gives me more for Reality vs. Fiction. Just like how villainous characters can seem pretty badass and cool in fiction, flying a sword may not be as cool as it sounds in reality. And poor Shen Qingqiu has gotten to experience both. With your previous comments on the monsters I was highly anticipating you seeing the Ghost Head Spiders. I'm good with spiders of all sizes but those things are terrifying. Add in how they attack/feed and NOPE! Out of all the monsters I'd say that, for me, they are the creepiest. Love that moment of Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe working together to protect the disciples from other clans. They're so perfectly in sync with each other 🥺 (Well *physically* at least, Luo Binghe's and Shen Qingqiu's internal thoughts don't really match 😆) Now you get to understand a bit better why SVSSS is treated like the forgotten older sibling 😭 Such an abrupt ending to the season and no other content bar the novel. I definitely agree with you on how each of the first seasons of the donghua leave you feeling in regards to how much they give you that need to devour the books. Also with how this donghua ends I honestly don't know if there is anyone in the fandom that have remained donghua-only 😆 I feel like Xiao Gongyi's fear in that moment helps remind the viewer that he's still young, like Luo Binghe. Both of them are incredibly mature and can be strategic, but they're still not adults like Shen Qingqiu and Liu Qingge, etc. Your reaction to the product being advertised for SVSSS was perfect! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm so glad you weren't spoiled on what SVSSS got an advert for. Also agree that Shen Qingqiu's way of being is definitely not heterosexual-coded whatsoever! The cis!het guys I know here stammer and try to get away from any conversation regarding periods, or they'll even run away 😅 Hard agree on the dynamics. HuaLian from the start it was so clear what their ship dynamic was. Wangxian not just as much. I definitely see Wei Wuxian in Mo Xuanyu's body as an absolute bottom, but Wei Wuxian as the Yiling Laozu? Yeaaah a little harder to say he's a bottom, though potentially due to having read several Fix It fics where during that time Lan Wangji is a complete Pillow Princess 😂 At this point in the story with Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe however I can easily think of arguments for either dynamic fitting their characters.

Yessss, it’s one of the few patrons I have on here but I adore Nathan and Andrew’s story so much! Glad to know others know of it as well! :D I would SO be SQQ after flying on a sword (if I hadn’t fallen off, first). And YES, those Ghost Head spiders are TERRIFYING. A hard round of NOPE for me as well! They are SUPER creepy and I would just exit the story at that point, haha! That is a really good point about how the two of them (SQQ and LBH) are in sync so well on the outside but inside they don’t really match at all, yet! Kind of like HuaLian and WangXian in ways, as well. And I agree, Xiao Gongyi definitely feels more like a teenager in his moments of panic! That really is UNFAIR about the series as a whole ending on such an abrupt note! But, I’m glad at least that I probably won’t have to worry about donghua-only fandoms once I go back to the series for Season 2…probably! 😛 THAT COMMERCIAL WAS GOLDEN – I’m so glad that I didn’t get spoiled either! And yeah, usually being super on board with period talk is not…something heterosexually coded! XD I agree 100% on WWX in MXY vs. The Yiling Patriarch – I think that LWJ would be good either way, ut maybe it worked out for the best that he ended up in MXY’s body! 😛 And I’m VERY excited to see what MXTX does with SQQ and LBH couple-wise with their dynamics!
