The first season is about 16 years old, so yeah, it feels old. I'm glad you are getting to watch this show, is one of my favorites of all time because is so chill/feel good/sad show and I was so overdue for a rewatch of this series so I'm gonna be rewatching it along with you, and I will also finally get to watch seasons 4-6 because I never made the time to watch them but I have them on a harddrive in my computer.

I'm very excited to dive into this show but that makes sense with it being 16 years old -- I'm going to make a joke in the intro of next week's episode that will reference a 16-year-old show as well, so it's funny you mention that! Thank you for the comment - I am glad this will give motivation to watch the other seasons! :D

When they were discussing Tsuyukami's youkai drawing and Natsume asked if it had hair, I was expecting the show to reveal that the youkai they were looking for was the one that attacked Natsume at school. It would have been ironic. Anyway, I'm starting to think I don't remember the events of Natsume super well, so I'm now even more excited to be rewatching it. 🙂 I've never seen Heaven's Official Blessing (it's on my list), but the show Noragami also depicts deities that grow stronger and weaker based on the number of followers they have. Three times can't be a coincidence, so I'm guessing the concept comes from Japanese or Chinese mythology.

Ooohh, that would have been interesting! That's interesting about Noragami, too -- I agree; there's probably SOME tie to mythology there, especially if it's a big trope like that! Thank you for the comment and kind words! :D
