I think suppression and meekness in his presence would be a more interesting option than trivial hypocrisy.

WANTS to Change her tune then remembers her daughter is already filthy rich, wants to say racist stuff, remembers all of this money wouldn't have been an option without Perry and then is so confused that she plans a hilarious plot where she contacts Perry's parents and maybe grandmother because she assume they have been equally conned/restricted like she and her husband by nat. In the end her plot is even kinda successful because Perry's dad and grandmother humor her and hexen knows her from when she saved her as a kindergarden child.
