Heads up! I am most likely going to be moving to New Mexico at the end of the year. Dec/Jan.

How does this affect you:

The amount of time that I am able to spend writing may suffer as we box up stuff and get ready to go. Be prepared for days missed when I have to drive around and cancel all my utilities, or donate my furniture, pack up boxes or haggle with the moving company, etc.

There's a good chance I will soon set aside Soulmonger for a couple months to focus on GSA4 and get it out of my hair around moving time. Working on two series at the same time is just as hard as I remember, and adding a move on top is just...too much.

Pivoting to crack down on GSA and get it done fast seems like a good, rational idea since it would pay better and help absorb the cost of relocating.

I know most of you were here before Soulmonger and probably are super stoked to get more GSA, but I want to take a moment to apologize to those who are here for Soulmonger. It will continue. I'm not gonna stop that story until he gets his daughter back.

Expect it back in force as soon as you see GSA 4 hit Kindle, and possibly occasional chapters out between now and then.

TLDR: Lowering Soulmonger commitment to make time for a move to NM. Gonna try to speedrun GSA 4 before I leave Alaska.
Will pick up Soulmonger in force after the move/GSA4

I feel really stupid today. I wonder if it's because I didn't get enough sleep, or if it's low oxygen, or the sugar corroding my brain cells. Or getting fat.

All of the above? Why not?

I live in NM if you have any questions or concerns.

I didn't realise you lived in Alaska, do you already have a plan for moving or are you just planning as you go?

Macronomicon

how bad is it gonna suck? I'm used to water being basically free, but moving to a desert is gonna be...new.

I got a decent housing offer from my somewhat less crazy sister to rent a nice property. It'll get me down into the lower 48 (that's what we call the other states) I can get away from crazy neighbors and crazy family and orient myself on making the final move to Oregon, where I wanna buy a bigass piece of land and retire with a stable of sexy librarians. It sorta got sprung on me, but all in all, it seems like a positive move, so we're gonna go for it.

I hope you get everything you need out of the move, Macro. Wish you good luck of course.

About Soulmonger you said that after you finish GSA4 you weren't going to stop writing it untill he gets his daughter back, does that mean it will be the end of the story or just where you think it'll be the stopping point before you focus on the next GSA book?

Macronomicon

It'll be the end of an arc. It would allow me to set down the series for as long as I had to, you know what I mean? Give me a choice to continue or let it rest a while.

Rich enough to get fat. You live that American dream homeboy.

What part of Oregon are thinking of? I grew up in NE Oregon.

Macronomicon

I'm not sure yet. Probably northern if I can. I don't want it to be super duper hot, since i was raised in Alaska, and southern oregon is kinda deserty. So is eastern oregon. Huh. So NW if i can? I'm fascinated by the amount of geothermal Oregon has, and if I could get some warm land that would be incredible, but I'm flexible. Big enough to house my stable of sexy librarians. Still accepting applications for that, BTW. For some reason, short, fat, balding men don't seem to be in high demand.

Alex Lindsay

Try looking into the Wallowa mountains in NE Oregon. Beautiful though drier like the Rockies in Colorado. Probably cheaper than most of the mountainous areas. I spent my time in the Blue Mountains and there were several hot springs. Pretty rural though. SW Oregon is pretty with mountains and more rainfall. SE Oregon is very dry and very sparkly populated . Not as much mountains. As for the librarians, maybe that they like your huge…tracts of land. :)

I need some really good series to fill in the time. https://www.royalroad.com/profile/3091/fictions

Andrew

If you guys need something to filling for 1 he's not posting. and I thank you for all the cool stuff you write

Andrew

I came up with the cool idea I think you might Like. entropy Exist Why can't there being opposite force. Something like Yen yang.

Andrew

entropy Exist Why can't there being opposite force The 'heat-death' of the universe is when the universe has reached a state of maximum entropy. This happens when all available energy (such as from a hot source) has moved to places of less energy (such as a colder source). Once this has happened, no more work can be extracted from the universe.

Andrew

Sorry I'm had to better clarify that
