So I'm sitting here trying to brainstorm how Calvin's race can change during the Break in new and interesting ways, if at all possible. I find myself lacking in creativity sufficient to snatch the juiciest idea out of the ether, so I'm going to outsource it.

So here's the suggestion box:

Suggest new abilities, new weaknesses (If any) Changes in appearance, Etc. Preferably in line with what the race already does, but I'll read it anyway.

Any ideas for racial mutations due to Breaking as a Maculat Mulieres go right here.

Win button abilities will probably get passed over. I'm looking for something that adds depth to the plot. Like a problem that slowly grows over time and has to eventually be dealt with.

Or just something really really cool =P

Hmm... Well, Maculat us all about destroying people using their own psychology and whatnot. And he can already see whatever people who look at him see and feel their intention - the next obvious step for a Maculat would be to start sending people's psychic energy (or whatever you wanna call it), not in straight up telepathy like reading a book, but instead of just sensing intent he could feel bundles of desires or neuroses that he feels compelled to untangle and expose, which creates a catharsis of emotional/psychic energy he can feed on.

People who are exposed to his secretions (blood, seven, saliva, etc.) start exhibiting similar behaviors to his type and over time transform as well.

Maculat seems to focus around manipulating peoples' minds. He can already sense intentions through eye contact on him - what if it extended to surface-level thoughts? As an extension on his blood causing a physical reaction, perhaps it could extend to a lesser degree to skin-to-skin contact? Like using handshakes, hands on shoulders, etc. to make others' minds more easily influenced and subject to his words?

His blood could start having a stacking addiction effect that makes targets increasingly suggestible, eventually becoming impossible to resist. The withdrawal could involve becoming a feminine version of a maculat, except all their abilities specifically target him. If the female maculat drinks him dry, they become the new greater maculat.

What about a pheromone that subtly causes people to become more introspective (especially the longer they are exposed). Leaving them more susceptible to Calvin changing their beliefs/views. Of course this isn't selective so it also affects his companions. It would be a constant exercise in self control to not try to mentally "prey" on them.

Since the Maculat feeds on Warp, what about a sort of aggressive version of that. For example a ranged version or a way to Royally (heh) screw up someone's Break

In some traditions, the oldest/most powerful vampires can no longer be nourished by the blood of normal humans, and require the pre-concentrated blood of other vampires, perhaps 'normal' warp is no longer sufficient and he will require a more concentrated version(either from higher break humans or from other Mulcat, or some other source). This might start as just a more rapid consumption of his warp pool, or perhaps he starts to get 'hungry' if his warp pool is below a certain number(half full, 20 points? 50 points?), possibly with additional break-points as his warp gets lower. (suggestion: his post-break max is within the 'slightly hungry' or 'hungry' range, pushing him to grow it, and then grow it further to have a 'safety buffer' once he can once again look at women without wanting to drain them) Perhaps combined with a way to convert warp to bent(and possibly a small warp pool from being a greater mulcat which for other greater mulcat allows them some bent at the risk of losing control of themselves)

Greater Maculat – A Maculat who has risen so far that they are no longer human or undead, but truly a different species. Only their seemingly perfect form on the outside would lead people to believe otherwise. With a whisper they make a patriarchy a matriarchy. With a caress they erode the foundation of a culture. • Blood is now a darker rich purple. It seems to sparkle with an alluring inner gold which can only be seen by females. • Corrupt the corruption – His blood naturally removes foreign competition (parasites, implants, etc.) from female bodies. This of course still doesn’t stop his blood itself from negatively impact the women in question. However, this also means his blood actively destroys and breaks down anything it deems as competition within his own body (for good or bad). • Only can be slayed by a true wizard – aka, weapons wielded by non-virgins do half damage. Conversely, Weapons wielded by virgins do twice as much damage. • Increase in all general attributes in exchange for twice the warp consumption (constant effect) • Pop Star – Essentially the cheering of women creates psionic/bent storm that naturally protect him and his fans while they are actively cheering. Side effects: Women cheering for to long may become ‘rabid fan girls’ • Let you fetters become wings and your gift be your chains – If he has corrupted a woman, he gains the ability to perverse/reverse one of their skills that effect their mentality. For example, if he corrupts a woman who had one of the skills that make them more docile, he could then change the skill to the opposite. • Follower Skills – So this is not something he exactly gains but that people can gain because of his new greater mutation. For example, women who have been corrupted/interact with him during breaks can gain a whole list of unique skills. Maybe even mutations. (of course they can only be gained by women) o Maculat servant – Effect: ???? Requirement: Accepting a drop of his blood during their break. o Seed of corruption: Person with this skill has a corrective action to corrupt anything they are a part of. (Ex. An organization or a hive mind, cough, cough.)

Feel intent pushes a feedback loop, hes now the enemy of women - he is a chocolate bar filled with ice cream with 0 calories but still tastes like real sugar - levels of irresistible. Simply put, you see Calvin, take a whiff of the air - and your frozen, staring, drooling, you lean in, fall down like an idiot and when he gives you his hand and you touch it - your now pregnant.

The true wizard one is based. Make Calvin weak to virgin bois in combat. Not sure how he would figure out - but its a super funny idea that only a 30 year old Virgin Wizard can defeat him.

A Maculat is a being that feeds on warp, a greater Maculat is a being of Warp. This would function to greatly increase calvins warp tank at the cost of constantly leaking bit of warp all the time. Possibly enough to break someone who hasn't before. Of course, the warp he is leaking should have effects as well. Though I don't think that needs to have to do with having even more women swoon over Calvin. I'd personally like to see any further swoon factor come from character development rather than bent abilities. I Would rather see this warp either affect other people's bent abilities perhaps adding one of the mutative effects from Calvin to the people around him. or perhaps seeping into the environment around Calvin leading to a lair that he has an amount of control over. Feeding into Calvin's wish to sit in a tower all the time.

Instead of corrupting one person at a time, he feels compelled to do it on a larger scale. He has to fight his new pervert-dictator compulsion. Which is made even harder by Elliot cheering him on.

A Greater Maculat has a higher desire for "pure" and powerful warped bodies and thus, desires to corrupt and feed from noble bloodlines and the strongest females. Suddenly his desire to corrupt princesses makes them easier to pick out but harder for him to simple kidnap for stat boosts without harming/corrupting them. Oh, and now he sees learner "brain" and dear mother as targets to corrupt. Powerful and ?pure? females...
