Hey everyone,

So just a quick update this week.

Nothing too interesting to show off. I've finished adding most of the old animations into the new systems and tested them. I still have a few bugs and areas where characters rotate in ways that are a little unexpected. I've also been adding like 5-6 small animations for things like head pat or a kiss on cheek. These are designed to just be small helper animations.

I've also been doing some design work on the caves.

The current plan is to experiment with Gnosis barriers that are powered by the crystal figments. Each figment that you defeat will unpower that barrier and allow access throughout the caves.

I'm still in a bit of a designing phase. I need to put together a quest for getting the lantern along with the actual cave structure. I also need to put together 3 new player abilities along with abilties for all the new Figments. 

I'm also hopeing to add a few new pacifiers into the game as rare drops from the crystal figments. I love specific figments having cosmetic drops so I'm going to have fun designing a few fun ones.

Loving the game so far! I have a couple notes from playing through it a couple times now. Maybe you can add a quick drop off system for figment drops so you don't have to walk all the way to trade them in. The other suggestion is to remove some of the fences along the roads and sidewalks, I have found that is getting slightly irritating to walk around them when they are extra long, remove just enough to add a few gaps. Other than that it is really impressive from a developer standpoint to see your progress and I am excited to see your progress every week, cheers!

For the quick drop off maybe something either inside or right outside of the dorms can be installed the 4th-5th night, that is like the thing in the gnosis building, just a thought!

If I may ask (though you may be sick of the topic), what are your current thoughts on the combat system - specifically the skills and how to get them?

It's a good question. I havn't worked out the best way. At the moment it's a basic skill tree. But I think some ability trainers would be a good idea. Placed in the different game areas to teach you skills.

So I made a discovery, we can play Littlington University on linux using wine but one major bug that causes it to not be playable lol is no text what So ever and well I can play it by guessing or remembering but not as fun if there is no story lol.

Hmm interesting I can't see why the text would fail. I don't have a linux system to test. Can't find anything online on why the text might fail in this context

a question if you allow me, about these updates, to have my game updated do i need to reinstall the game? If someone can explain it to me, I would really appreciate it, I don't know what to do.

You just remove the old version and download the new. You won't loose your save games as they are stored in a different location and the new version will re-link. When a new update is out I always post the latest link and do a post in this system.
