Hey everyone!

A huge thankyou to all my supporters. I've got a bunch of great feedback and found a bunch of bugs! So I took some time to relax and get away from my screen for a few days which was nice. A little bit of thinking room is a great help in keeping the creative energy going.

So I have a few different priorities at the moment and I’m going to be updating my to-do lists to encompass a few different areas. But I’ll chat about a few of the big ones I’ve got kicking around.

I have some code I want to clean up and a few bugs I need to fix. These things are less urgent but I should still make time to clean up and fix things as I go.

I want to update the diapers a little. If you inflate the mesh it becomes quite low poly and I think I found a unique solution that will give me a little bit more control. This might not work but worth giving a go. 

I also realised I need to update how I create diaper packages. At the moment I have to create them via photoshop and looking at the process I kind of need to create a custom package for each diaper . I’m thinking of creating a system much like I create new diapers. Something to dynamically create a diaper package would be great.

I’ve got two priorities in terms of story. So the writers have been busy adding dialogue to all the NPC’s in the world. Over this month some time is going to be shifted to the main story as well as the side stories. This will be implemented in an odd order as I start to get story stuff in before we have any dialogue.

As for the game areas. I’ll be getting in a few more stores and hopefully a job system to allow you to earn money a bit more easily. This month I’m probably not going to be working on any new “zones”. But the plan is next month to start work on the Mall. It’s mostly a few stores and a “play zone”. The idea is that it will start a little run-down at the beginning of the story but gain more life as the game goes on.

So I’ve got a bunch of stuff to do. This week I’m going to write up a big priority list and try and structure it to get lots done! People seem to be excited and I can’t wait to keep adding stuff into the game!

I was wondering is there npcs who will baby the player yet

Y’know as a placeholder for the mall play zone or any nursery content to come is it possible you could just port the areas from the inventory or combat demo to the current build as something to do? That’ll also give the writers places to put comments from “little” characters, and mean there’s more than one place on the current island to get a change. That said, the update’s been pretty good so far, the new locations are nice, the shopping mechanics work well, the packages and the new pull-ups are especially cute, and the vehicles are a good speed boost for navigating around. (I’m fond of the bouncer/walker, because with the camera angle you can see how saggy you get with full pants. I haven’t run into much in the way of bugs, beyond one crash when I entered into a house which had no interior, and a couple typos in the random dialogue, although I assume that’ll get fixed too. (Also really partial to the news lady and the cheerful girl on the path to the university, telling me not to fill pull-ups is really cute). Overall I dig it so far.
