Devlog (Tutorial) (Patreon)

Hey everyone!,

A huge thankyou to all my supporters. It's been nice to be able to put a little bit more effort into polishing up some bits and pieces. It took a little longer than I wanted after I encountered a wierd bug that was breaking my flow graphs. Thankfully it was just a corrupted file from a previous crash. I just deleted it and got everything working.

So I've been working on the tutorial and the new game setup. Nothing too exciting but it's starting to work well. The tutorial is pretty simple at the moment. It just quickly explains some of the basic concepts.

I started with something more complex but it felt slow and very annoying. I think something very quick and simple will be better. So I deleted like half the steps and tried to keep it within the one room.

I also updated the text system so it would replace your chosen name properly. I'll use the same system for replacing your pronouns. I won't be using too much gender specific langauge (Stops me having to write dialogue twice) but I'm probably going to want to use language like "Diapered boys" or "Diapered girls" or "Diapered ones".

It also occured to me that some people use the words Diapers or Nappies. So I think it's worth adding the ability to set the termanology from Diaper to Nappy. Not a big change but I think some people might appriciate it.

If people can think of other words that might be easy to swap in and out I could try and add some more options but I think I've got the big ones for now.

I'm going to keep working on the game and will be testing an upload this week. I also found some great royalty free music I could use for the game. This might let me put some better music in way earlier than I expected which would be nice!

If I have time I might also look at adding the more complex customisation options soon too!

Anyway that's all the news I have right now I'm going to keep working! But It's really exciting that the tutorial/content I put in right now is for the real thing!
